factory tires on dodge

I have been driving a 2013 Dodge Charger base model for 6000 miles that has Michelin Energy Saver tires. I think they are bad. The road noise coming off of them is worst than any other Michelin tire I have driven on before. Other brands on my other cars make less road noise on the same roads.

Camry 2012

I had these tires when I purchased the car. After 67000, it was time to replace them. I bought set of Bridgestones for my car but I realize the difference instantly. After a week I called my service center and asked them to replace it with Michelin Energy Saver. Michelin tires are very quiet and smooth. I will never switch to any other brand again.

A Really Pleasant Surprise

These tires (P225/50R17 93V) came with my 2012 Fusion as original equipment. I am extremely impressed with the overall look and performance of these tires. In 30 years plus, I've driven many cars as an outside salesman and have never had any set of tires yield 68K miles! In fact, although not recommended, I only rotated them twice in their lifetime. When I recently researched them and discovered they are rated as a 55K warranty tire, I was impressed. I'm tire shopping now and will find a dealer willing to replace them with the exact model.

20000 mile review

I bought these energy saving A/S for 2011 CRV. These tires ride comfortably. The tread wear is between 7/32 and 8/32 at 20000 miles. I should get close to the 65,000 mile guarantee. The gas mileage is not great on the interstate. I get about 25 mpg+/-. I drive the speed limit plus 5 mph+ over. If I stayed at the posted speed limit, I could do better. I will wear this set out, but I will certainly consider the defender the next time. The energy saver a/s 225/65/17 only has a 100 T rating. This was the only tire available in Michelin, when I bought them in February 2012. The defender comes with the 102 T rating and a 90000 mile warranty. The price differential is not that much more between the two tires, so both will be considered at the next tire purchase. Overall great tire. I have had the tires rotated every 6, 000 miles and have had the alignment checked twice a year.

Money well spent.

Purchased these tires for my 2009 Hyndaui Genesis. These tires are quiet , a plush ride and money well spent compared to the harsh riding, noisy, no name brand factory tires that came on the car brand new from the factory. I already see a slight increase in gas savings.

Lasts 65,000 miles too!

Bought these tyres for my Prius which I bought used, so I have no comparison about the 'previous' tyres durability or fuel-efficiency to compare those claims for certain. One thing I appreciate about Michelin -- if they say they are 65K tires, they are 65K tires. I have purchased 'other brands' in the past and find their mileage ratings don't stand up to their claims. I've rarely had any Michelin tyre not go the distance and have a couple thousand left in them if new tires aren't quite in that week's budget. I had two instances on this set of 4 tyres where braking was key to avoiding deer-vehicle collisions. In one instance, I actually 'locked' the wheels to avoid the downed motorcyclists four car lengths in front of me when Bambi intervened in their pleasant fall drive. The tyres worked better than I ever could have anticipated. Thanks Michelin!

This tire came on my car ...

This tire came on my car 07 Hyundai Sonata and the tires and the car is I believe this is the quietest combination I have ever riden on. I got 55k miles on oem tires which I thought was very good, the handling was good I got into a few situations which required hard braking and an evasive manuver or two and was well pleased with the preformance.

A GO for 2010 Prius

Have been running the energy savers for nine months and could not be happier. Better handling than the original OEM tires. Used on my 2010 Prius and already appears to also have better wear characteristics. The original OEM tires only lasted 20,000 miles. Cannot say if they get me better gas mileage, but longer lasting tread and improved stability is worth the price. Some noise on hard cornering, but no big deal. People point and say to themselves "Is that a PRIUS!"

Great for Hybrids!

I recently purchased the Energy Saver A/S tires for my wife's Honda Civic Hybrid. Man do they ride better than the factory tires! Quiet and smooth! So far I haven't noticed any changes in my fuel mileage which is supposedly a very critical factor for hybrid tire choices. I guess time will tell, but for now they are a vast improvement!

Honda Accord Hybrid

This model of tire came on my Honda Accord Hybrid from new. It worked so well that when I scraped an old jagged curb while parallel parking and ripped a hole in the sidewall, I decided to put a new set on the car. The previous set had 35,000 miles on them and they were working great when the puncture happened. I drive a lot of highway miles at 75ish mph and the resistance to hydroplaning is great with this tire. Also, I love that this tire doe not have the "directional" tread pattern so I can rotate them the old-school way of crossing over. I believe this makes the tire last longer with the high crown that they put on most roads now.
