Good tires but not first choice

I've had these tires for about 3 months already. The ride feels a bit stiff and rough. I've driven over some potholes, construction sites, and uneven roads and you can feel the dips. The tires feel like they roll with little resistance, so I hope that means fuel efficiency but not sure. Traction has been good and responsive on turns, good grip on the road so far but they are fairly new. Overall i would give them a 3.5

Improved Wet Traction

The Goodyear Assurance tires improved my wet traction over my worn OEM tires. They are on par with the OEM when they are new and cost considerably less. The service provided was fast and courteous and the facility is clean. My next set will probably come from here.

Car drives horrible since the purchase of the tires

My car (sedan) sounds like a pick up truck every since I had the tires placed onto my car. The way the car rides and the sound of the car is unbearable. My car drove better with little to no tread on the tires than currently with brand new tires. I will have to rate these tires on the bottom.

Wore out too soon

Bought these tires to replace the Kumhos when my 2017 Jeep Patriot High Altitude had 300 miles on it. Looked like a good tire at first, kept them rotated and probably inflated but had to replace them with under 30k miles on them. They weren't a bad tire but isn't a great tire either definitely will not be buying them again.

I think these were the worst tires I ever owned.

Had the tires approximately 18 months, they had less than 20,000 miles on them Were awful in snow, we live in an area with hills, not really steep ones, but were unable to make it up them. Also sometimes slide in rainy weather going around corners. We also had 3 flats in the time we had them, 2 within 2 weeks in the winter previously we hadn't had a flat tire in years.

Not a good tire - only got 45,000 mi

I thought the tires were good when I bought them. Handling was fine and road noise was a minimum. It's now time to purchase new tires because there is no tread left. After only 45,000 miles I need new tires and the road noise is not good. I would not waste your hard earned money on these. I drive a Mitsubishi Outlander and love the car but not the tires.

Great tire at an affordable price

The tires ride very well and handle very well thus far have not driven in winter yet so no information about winter handling but does great in the rain. Assurance tires are very good tires have had wrangler on another vehicle and I prefer assurance for comfort.

Outstanding Choice for my Type Vehical

This is my second set of these tires on this vehicle. These tires offer me a great ride. They are quiet, smooth and handle well. Because my vehicle is considered a small to mid-size SUV my limited option of tires fell into the light truck/utility tire which I found to be very loud riding especially at highway speeds. My family even refused to ride with me if we needed to be on the highway for awhile. That was until I discovered Goodyear Assurance All Season and they fit my vehicle! These tires offer an extremely quit ride even at highway speeds. I almost sold this car because of the ride noise thinking it was just the way it rode. Was I ever wrong, it was the factory equipped light truck tires. These Goodyear Assurance saved me a lot of time and hassle as I honestly was going to do a trade in. Since I found these tires a few years ago I now love my SUV and how it rides and handles. My family will now ride with me and we don't have to shout over the tire noise to be heard!

Wow! I had no idea what I was missing!!!

The minute I drove out of the parking lot I could FEEL the difference in my car with these new tires!!! On the way in I felt like I was riding on an old Rollercoaster. Jarring, bumpy, loud, rough!!! My drive home with the new tires was superrrr smooth!! Going over the speed bumps in my complex was the smoothest its ever been! I could feel my car so responsive maneuvering through traffic on the freeway, turning corners, I honest to God cannot believe what a difference these tires make!! Even my butt was not sore after driving over an hour today!! I had no idea tires could and would make such a massive difference! VERY happy!!! **The only reason I haven't rated for wet /rain or weather driving because I just got them today.

Very well matched to my car.

Although my car is capable of 160+ mph, I'll never drive anywhere near that so these tires rated at 118 mph are fine. Beyond that, the ride is smoother, more quiet and handling is better than the tires that were originally on the car new and which cost roughly 2.5 times as much. As for traction, that word is not in the original tire's manufacturer's dictionary but on dry and wet pavement, these Assurance tires wrote the book! Traction and handling on snow and/or ice is pretty good but considering my car weighs ~4,700 lbs, the momentum that can be generated can make any tire that normally would stick like glue turn into ice skates but, these Assurance tires are relatively aptly named because although the snow can get deep in Wisconsin, reasonable driving habits combined with the traction these provide on snow and ice have made it such that I rarely have issues.
