I had one in high school that I pull out sometimes. This is a nice updated version with slightly larger barrels. It has a digital temp setting which is nice. It waves my already pretty straight hair rather quickly. Glad I replaced the one from high school. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This waver was so easy to use to style my hair. It gave me the perfect mermaid hair look! My hair is a little bit longer than shoulder length and it took around 5 minutes to finish waving my hair! Once turned on, it has a little screen that says the temperature. I used the low heat setting and I believe it got to 245 degrees F. The waves stayed in my hair all day (8hours) without any product. I really enjoyed using it!

Works well enough, but is quite heavy. If you have any problems with your wrist/ elbow/ forearm or shoulder joint, it may be too heavy. It makes lovely loose big crimps on my hair pretty quickly. It heats up extremely fast when you first turn it on, so there is no waiting around.

Nice iron but little heavy

The control buttons are on the side where your fingers grasp the tool. It’s really difficult not to press the buttons, turning it iff in the middle of crimping your hair. And the tool gets cool before you realize it’s turned off. Also the grasp on your hair is weak. It took twice as long to crimp my hair as it dis with my old revlon crimper. So I re-purchased the revlon one I had before of which I feel has a better grip on my hair and I’m able to crimp it much faster. It also has a better on/off switch and heat control dial position and for almost the same price.
