Hi Kathy! There are some key differences between the two products. The Poise® 5 Drop Maximum Absorbency, Long Length Pads are designed for streams, able to absorb 9-13 ounces. Meanwhile, the Poise® 6 Drop Ultimate Absorbency, Regular Length Pads are designed for gushes, able to absorb 12-18 ounces. We hope this helps!
