Seattle Sourdough Waterfront Sliced Round Bread 24 oz.

I am a sourdough aficionado.  This is as close to San Francisco Sourdough as I’ve tasted, including my homemade sourdough bread using a starter that has been in my family for 66 years!!!

I get the sourdough craze, but I don’t want to cook it. I just want to eat it. This loaf is abundant!! Huge pieces! I’d warm them up in the microwave for 20 seconds for 3 pieces and spread them with a good European sweet cream butter. Heaven!!

Perfect Sourdough!

This bread tastes no different than Wonder Bread. There is no sourdough flavor, and the texture is not good either. I tried this because the Essential Baking brand was out of stock.  I will definitely not buy again.

They used a new recipe and sliced it thicker in the last batch that is more like homemade!  So much better!

This bread began molding the day after I purchased it on March 14th. And for the price? This is totally unacceptable

This is a pretty sour sourdough! Kinda tears up the roof of your mouth if you toast it, otherwise no complaints.

It's the best sourdough I have found between stores, a bit over priced  in my opinion.

Best Sourdough I've Found

In my opinion, the bread tasted like cardboard, and the crust was so hard it cut my gums up!  And YES for you smart people 😉 I have teeth.   Anyways, the crust was sharp and crunchy, there is LITERALLY NO MOISTURE in the bread at all, and the taste??? jury is still out on that one .  I actually wound up dunking my bread into my coffee, as to ease it down smoother, and to be able to chew it.  In my defense, I did NOT pick this bread out for myself.  I wanted good old fashioned hearty potato bread, for my sandwiches and toast; but, my shopper used his own judgment when he had to choose my  substitution because the one I wanted was not available.  So??? MAYBE he thought it looked like potatoes, so he got it...lol 😂.

I LOVE sourdough bread , but this is a really great one !  I use it primarily for toast , and it comes out crunchy %26 flavorful ; just as I like it .  Occasionally I use it for French toast , and it excels when used this way also !  There are one or two I use as “emergency back-ups” ,but this bread 🥖 is the best , in my opinion .
