These are a regional chocolate only available at Easter. I grew up on these and I've never found a milk chocolate as creamy or with as much lovely flavor as these. I've eaten a lot of different chocolates over the years but I'll match them against any famous name chocolate. Note that these DO CONTAIN NUTS, specifically pecans, so they wouldn't be appropriate for anyone with a nut allergy. Elmer's also makes several other types of Easter candies, which are all good. But these have been my favorite since the early 1950s. They're always wonderful.

Delicious, brings back child memories of New Orleans and Easter baskets.

I've had these since I was a child. They are fantastic. Love them!!! I introduced them to my husband, and he is in love! I wish I had access to them year round. I'm ordering my third box today. My mother has eaten these since she could get a small square of it for a penny or something when she was a child. Her eyes lit up when I gave her one.

Consistently special since 1950's at least. Buy more than you think you want or you'll be sorry!
