Helps Make Porsche a Porsche!

Put Pilot Sport 4S on my 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S. It's a proven tire on that car. Performs great. Lots of grip in the dry, and pretty good in the wet, too. Obviously a summer tire and not made for winter or cold conditions. Very happy with the tires!

Michelin Pilot SPORT 4S AMAZING WET AND DRY PERFORMANCE

AMAZING WET AND DRY PERFORMANCE. BEST TIRES MY Volvo S60R had on. It is like my car is glued to the road and rides on a track. Handling is superior at any speed or road condition during the summer period. I do not use these tires during the winter time. After 2 summer drivings I would purchase them again and I would not think about any other tire on the market. ; As an additional bonus the tire on my car looks great thanks for all the detailed work on the sidewalls. Thanks Michelin for putting on the market this superior tire.

Defective Tires

I must have driven less than 5000 km on these tires on my Audi Q7 Technik there are side bulges on 2 tires. These 2 tires have the same DOT. The 2 tires that are alright have a different DOT compared to the defective ones. I am a very careful driver. I do have additional winter tires on rims hence the mileage has been low on these tires. disappointed that an expensive tire is not made to last.

225/19 from France 255/19 from USA

Service Adviser had to explore several distributors before he could find staggered set for my M3. We both got a chuckle when we discovered the front tires were from France and the Rear Tires were from the USA. Happy with the sidewall aesthetics. First ten miles have been fine @ 55F Of course wouldn't you know that I change my summer tires and now we have snow on the way to South. Winters late hurrah 2017

Good Tires but not much time with them Yet

I bought these tires a few weeks ago. They are on a 2014 Porsche Boxster. I like the handling so far. I noticed that they feel loose when they are cold but seem to get stickier when warmed up. Still too early to say how they are overall as I have no experience in wet conditions yet and less than 1000 on them.

More than just superior handling

I switched to the PS4S from an OEM run-flat, high performance summer tire of a different brand. We went on a 1,400 kilometre trip soon afterward that included western mountain roads, where the Michelins were outstanding. They took our sports car to a new level! Bonus: they ride much better, transmit less road noise, and do not ‘tramline’ (lurch into pavement grooves and sags). They were well worth the price.

Great tire - what are low temp ranges

Excellent tire. Handles like it is a set of RR tracks. Question - what is the minimum temp for driving. This tire is on a Porsche 911. We live in TN and still have nice days in the winter. But, we have a northern route road trip planned, not in snow and ice, but possibly with temps below 40. Nights could dip below freezing but we won't plan to drive then. Is there an absolute "do not drive" temp where we could do tire damage or be unsafe?

reply from Michelin US

Paul, summer tires are designed for year round usage but should not be used during the winter season where temperatures are colder and approach freezing consistently as their performance would be less than optimal.

Really good tires

I have 32,000 Km,s on my tires and still have all kinds left, I can drive my car in the rain even now. They are a little pricey but well worth it in the long run. I have been asked many times how much I have liked then and given a good review. In the summer I use the car daily

Lifelong customer

I remember going with my dad to get tires on the family car when I was a kid. He told me Michelin were the best tires made. On the way home he was so excited and couldn't stop pointing out to me the qualities of the tire. Now as an adult, all I mount is Michelin. Even if money's tight at the moment and new tires are needed, I mount Michelin. Ive had luxury sedans, luxury coupes, and sports cars. Currently I am running Pilot Sport 4S with a spare set in the garage just in case. Even when the tires are completely worn, they keep you fully confident. Michelin should sponsor me given how much I brag about their tires to everyone who brings up the subject.

Completely Changed the Driving Dynamic of my Benz

I’m always amazed at how tires can completely change the driving dynamic of a car. When I purchased my Mercedes-Benz a year ago it came with the original OEM run-flat tires which were absolutely horrible. They gave such a harsh and noisy ride which one wouldn’t expect from a luxury car. However after replacing all 4 tires with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S it now drives incredibly smooth and quiet. I feel like I have a brand new vehicle. This is how I wanted it to drive from the beginning. The handling is more predictable and solid. I even feel secure and sure-footed when driving in the rain. The thought of trading it in for a newer model crossed my mind a few times prior to getting the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S but now I’ve decided to hold on to it because it drives so well!
