I had Michelin Defenders for my Honda Ridgeline '17 (bought in Oct 22) they too were smooth and as I spend most of my time on the highway, they lasted a while. Now got the new Cross Climate 2 and I was impressed !! The tires are amazing, quiet, smooth and the truck handles a lot better. I would highly recommend them.

It's relatively quiet, smooth on dry pavement, safe on wet roads, and good in wintry roads that are plowed. So-so on ice, as it slides in the direction of the crown of the road when coming to a stop on an icy intersection, but getting moving again, no issues. But... deep wet snow, it's too easy to break traction, since the long tread blocks, while it's good for grip when it's not snowing, makes it difficult for it to cut through the denser wet snow. Yes, my car was initially on Eco drive mode, but then had to switch to a off-road mode to get going again.

The tires have been on the car for 1 year and just had them rotated and they look to be in fantastic shape. Due to our weather differance from one city to the next I feel this is the perfect tire as it works very well in wet rainy conditions as well as snow. So leaving the rain slick roads of Chilliwack heading east over the snow cover highway to Penticton I could not ask for a better tire. Now because I live in the rainy section mostly the stopping power and distance is unreal. Thanks for such a great tire and keep moving forward.

I bought these for my 2012 Suzuki SX4. After about 3 months later, I just slapped a pair on my 2011 Subaru Legacy. These tires a "meaty" and, while I have lost some MPGs, they are my favorite tire I've had on either car. I've put them to the test several days and nights driving in snow and ice and they haven't let me down yet. I'll be trekking around the mountains of Colorado this summer and see how they do in all the heat.

I bought these tires five weeks ago. I asked my della person , I need tires for rain and snow.we have not had snow yet which is a big deal here in upstate Ny. No,not Albany but real upstate NY. First 2,000 miles my fuel mileage dipped from 41mpg to 38mpg (hybrid) but once they wore in they have been the most sure footed and quiet tires I’ve ever driven. I commute 120miles per day and currently have 43,000 miles on them. Still silent and trouble free. Wet/rain and snow braking and handling and overall performance makes this tire by far the best car tire on the market.

I have had these Cross Climate 2 tires since March now. I LOVE THESE TIRES!!! I usually write reviews, but these tires deserve one! I have now had experience in multiple seasons driving on them and I am extremely impressed! We have our first snow here in southern Oregon, only 2-3", and I do not feet the need to rush to get my snow tires put on (I will do that soon because we'll get more snow) but these tires are safe and comfortable for now to allow me time to schedule the swap. I replaced the OEM all seasons on my new 2024 Taos with a set of CrossClimate 2s. I CC2s on my previous Tiguan and they performed well summer and winter. I ran them for a year and a half until I traded the vehicle. Living in an apartment, the all weather tires make sense -- no storage issues and no seasonal swaps.

I bought these tires about a month ago and the quietness over the stock Brdgestone tires reall impressed me, but today in Calgary it rained all day and the amount of stability and no hdroplaning at freeway speeds exceeded my expectations.I can hardly wait to try them out on the snow. The stock tires seemed okay as its a Nissan Murano all wheel drive but honestly I would have upgraded to these tires from new for the extra dollars as I have never knew what a difference great tires are.

Bought CC2 to replace OEM tires on Subaru Outback after dealer tried to sell different brand with MAJOR markup. Traction (particularly in snow and ice on slopes) and road noise are dramatically better with these tires! Definitely worth slight cost increase, and would buy another set without reservation.
