The russell's reserve single barrels that I've had have all been at least above average for the price point. The single barrel selections i've had have all bordered on incredible for the price.

A great flavor ride with the de0th of high-proof without getting burned. Many good flavors, but on the brighter side, fewer heavy notes. I also get a surprising amount of sweet for a high-proof. Love this one.

I picked this when I was going to the store for a completely different bourbon. What a pleasant surprise. It has a great nose on it and it hits my palate just right with a warm finish. It is an easy drinker.
