I was shocked that after washing, it fit him well and was not tight on him at all. He usually wears a 24-month-old bodysuit, and the 12-month bodysuit sent fit. The suit did not shrink or fade after several washes and maintained softness. Highly recommend!

I will say that baby is 5 months old, around 16lbs, and typically wears 6m clothing. the body suit that was sent is a 9 month, but fits her perfectly so I feel it runs a little small.

The cotton is super high quality and stands up to many, many washings. Our Carters bodysuits and other clothes stand up to lots of washing due to spit up, blow outs, etc and always come out of the wash looking brand new! No pilling and the logos and designs are always super cute. Carters is wayyy better quality than most even boutique brands and their stuff is affordable too.
