This is the best sausage.... hands down! I recently moved from Louisiana, where I was born and raised, to Arkansas. One of the things I miss the most is Down Home Sausage. Every time I go back to LA or when someone is coming to visit, I place a pick up order from Sam's for at least 5 packages of this sausage. The price for a 5lb package is a great value.

My husband loves this sausage. We always stock up when we go to Sam’s Club.

I believe that Down home is one of the best smoked sausages that I have ever eaten. I use this smoked sausage as my meat of choice in almost every dish. I recommend it to all of my friend and family.

This is the best sausage I have ever eaten in my whole life. I haven't been able to find it here in Humble Texas. So when I drive back to Shreveport Louisiana I always load up the car and put them in the freezer. Shreveport Louisiana is where they are made right around the corner from where we used to live. First I thought it was just me that thought this was the best sausage but I gave some to my neighbors here in Humble Texas and they agree and they give me money to buy them some whenever I go back to Shreveport. You will not be disappointed if you buy this. Please seems carry this in the Houston locations
