Just installed a set of Defender 2 tires, re placing the Defender tires purchased 3 years ago. To my surprise the new tires a New tires are very noisy despite Michelin claiming they are very quiet.  The ride of the tire is very hard and as a result it creates a very noisy Ride when travelling on a rough road.  Not sure why you changed the style of tire.

I bought this 'set of four' Michelin Defender2 Tires for my 2008 Nissan Sentra S 4-door sedan. {Which I bought brand new in 2008.} At 2 years I replaced the factory tires with these Michelin tires [ then, faithfully a set of four-at-a-time, thereafter, as needed]. The grip and stability excel in wet OR dry highway driving. Saved me in a few highway "near-misses --THANK GOD!" For an ole lady in a 17+1/2-year-old-car, they rocked-my-socks, in traction during this historic Feb 22 to 24, 2026 Bomb-Cyclone/Blizzard. The leftover snow from the January storm, in my Southeast Massachusetts town became frozen. And the Blizzard dumped another 20+ inches; that covered my Black Sentra; parked in between two other vehicles. After I cleaned the snow, {which had even blown into my tailpipe} cleared snow from the two driver's-side tires & driver's door; clear enough from above the front bumper I was able to climb over the snow pack piled in front of my car. [ Utilizing the ole foot-on-the-brake, inch back & forth 2 or 3 times, until I felt those Defender's grip. Then it was smooth & steady going. I highly recommend these tires; and suggest rotation to extend the wear & durability -- which will extend their life!

Prior to purchasing my Defender2 tires I had the Firestone Destination tires on my vehicle and they were the worse tires I have every had on a vehicle. The traction and grip on these Michelin Defender2 tires are excellent! I would definitely recommend the Defender2 to others looking for a great set of all season tires.

The best tire purchase I have ever made. I replaced the tires on my 2021 Honda CRV which only had 28,000 miles and what a difference it made. The ride is smoother, quieter and my car seems to even handle better. I would highly recommend Michelin no matter what series you'll be getting the best tire even though they are a little pricey you'll be getting your moneys worth.

The Defender 2 tires are replacements on my Lexus ES 350. The tires are quiet and handle well but they are very bumpy/rough riding. I've had the tires rebalanced but it didn't fix the bumpy ride. I've driven them about 500 miles so far and I wouldn't recommend these tires due to the ride quality. I'm giving two stars because they are very quiet and handle great.

I’ve been a Michelin user ever since I began owning cars. I didn’t even consider other brands. Michelin is my go to.

They are good tires in fact I just said I need to go have them rotated. We are retired so we don't drive every day.

MAKES ME FEEL SAFE WHEN IT RAINS. GRIPS THE ROAD WITH EASE, STOP AND START EASILY IN ALL KINDS OF INCLIMATE WEATHER, LOOKS GREAT ON MY CAR, RESILIENT AND LAST FOR YEARS.

I bought the Michelin D2 and they are absolutely marvelous. I recommend the D2 Michelin for longevity purposes. The 80,000 miles assure much about the versatility of the automobile tires in everyday society.

2024 Honda CRV Hybrid sporty L, Tires grip the road are whisper quiet and make the ride feel taller, very comfortable and smooth ride. 100 times better than the original factory set. zero road noise I highly recomend these tires for any Small suv.
