Was at a local beach every other umbrella was all over the place this umbrella comes with spikes to hold it down to the sand i would give 10 stars if i could

This was a great purchase for our trip to Florida beaches. It blocked the wind on windy days and it’s big enough to sit under on sunny days. Easy to set up and take down.

Great Beach Umbrella it’s bigger than a reg size umbrella covers great and did joy have any issues setting it up for the first time. Withheld some wind as it was not that windy the day i went to the beach.

Perfect for the beach! This is our second Sport-Brella. We receive so many compliments and are asked a lot where we purchased it. Protects us from the sun while I read. Love it!

Great purchase for vacation, was better than renting umbrellas at the beach and did not take up much space for travel

We have the older version too. And overall the older one is easier for single game to and fro trips. The overall size was smaller, all metal and no plastic pieces. It was easier to stick in the ground too. The new one is nice as it tilts, it is larger and you do notice the larger size. But it is all plastic. The rods to hold the umbrella shape are plastic and often get twisted as you open the umbrella. The main center rod is also plastic, not flimsy but we see it cracking down the line as the old metal one still works like a champ (we just wanted one for each car). The main center extension that also connects to the ground has a wide twist in the ground piece attached, not removable. Probably great for sand but medium on standard baseball field grass. The worst part of this umbrella is this piece. It is sharp and we don’t store it in the bag with the umbrella or it would shred the umbrella. Not sure what they were thinking. This sounds negative but we do like it and the sportbrella brand has stood up to all of our hopes over the past 12+ years we had the first umbrella so far and other items. Missing the metal components is a bummer and a big one for me. Wish the extensions rod stored inside the center rod/pole like the old one. But it is great in wind, rain, and amazing for heat! We recommend it to everyone. Also, Sam’s sells a double folding chair. This newer sportbrella does attach with 2 mini bungee cords to the middle of the double seat and has survived decent wind and very heavy rain this way. We have bought both versions of these for gifts many times over! Hope this helps!

I primarily purchased this for the beach. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the height for the upright position so your only option is to use it as a lean-to. As a taller person who prefers to sit on a chair as apposed to laying/sitting on a towel it proves to be an issue.

Wire ring that binds the arms broke on first use. Had to re-bind with own wire. OE binding wire is weak af .

Horrible product. One of the ribs was not even attached to the material. We took it to the beach and at the first sign of wind it blew out of the sand and all of the ribs broke rendering it useless. We threw it away. Stay away from this product.

Nice looking umbrella, but the pole is made of plastic and the tilt button will not stay locked in place. I like having the medal instead of plastic. I had a very hard time getting the button to work to close the umbrella. I'm returning it.
