DINGY APPEARANCE & UNSATISFACTORY TREAD DEPTH

Had brand new 195/55r16sl87/v michelin tires put on my car about 2 weeks ago. i noticed the brownish, dirty appearance and mentioned it to the dealer, who would not comment. The 3rd day, i took my car to another dealer and expressed my dissatisfaction, and had it looked at. They found that the tread depth on each tire was 9/32 inches instead of 10/32. This is a flaw in Michelin's quality control. They were unable to tell me why the appearance was so discolored and shabby.

Outstanding grip and quiet!

These tires replaced a set of Uniroyal Tiger Paws and I can't get over how quiet these new Michelin Premiers are! Our Camry is a joy to drive again with the reduced cabin noise and the tires have an outstanding grip in rainy weather. We are completely pleased with this purchase (2nd set of Michelins in the family now) and will not stray from Michelins after this experience!

How could you not like these tires?

I've had the new Premier A/S for one week. I replaced the original equipment MXV4's which had 30,000 miles. The old tires were not worn out but I knew I would have to replace them when I turn the car back in 5 months so I thought I might as well use the new ones. Obviously, the old tires were past their prime - so perhaps that makes the comparison unfair But... the Premier are quieter - Very quiet, and the handling/cornering is terrific. I'm very happy I gave this new pattern a try! ...on a 2013 Lexus ES300h, by the way.

Smooth ride- but don’t last long.

These tires came on my 2017 Pacifica hybrid. These tires provide a smooth ride but wear out fast. At 30,000 miles, my tire shop said they couldn’t rotate because they need replacement. I change my oil every 5,000 miles and get a rotation each time and alignThe tire service said I can get maximum of 37,000 miles from what’s left. As mentioned these were fitted for my hybrid minivan so it’s not like I drive crazy with 4 children in the back. I drive the freeway at most 5 times per month. I would take an extra 10,000 miles over the smooth ride these tires provide. I always thought Michelin was one of the best companies out there. Very disappointed.

60,000 mile tire, 60,000 miles driven.

I put a set of four on my 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour on Sept. 2015. At 60,000 miles today, not quite at the top of the wear bars but getting close. With winter approaching, looking to replace this set with the same model. Pretty sure this same tire model was also the factory set and drove 60,000 miles on those too. I do take good care of my vehicle including tire pressure and rotation and wheel alignment. Tread doesn’t look aggressive but never had a bad experience in snow. Great wet weather traction. Only “complaint” is that they are a bit noisy on the highway and minor bumps in the road are like drumbeats.

Never Compromise, ice & snow heat & rain

We purchased some A/S tires for my wife's 2008 Camry in 2016. The tires were rated for 60,000. Immediately I could tell the quality difference between the Michelin's and other brands I had purchased in the past. They grip the road like a glove, and with a newborn at the time I promised myself never to compromise again. We live in Minnesota, and I can tell you that in the ice and snow these tires perform like a no other. I recently had to replace the tires and again went with Michelin. We got 70,190 miles out of the last set, and if winter was not here, we could have pushed them even further. I know this is the last set of tires I am going to have to purchase for this vehicle, but it they will not be the last Michelins I ever buy. Living in a severe climate region like Minnesota means never compromise. These tires will spoil you from beginning to end and all roads in between. Anyone dogging the quality of Michelins should take a look at their vehicle and tire care. Align, inflate, and rotate and you will get every penny out of these treads.

Chrysler Pacifica 2017

These tires came installed in my Pacifica 2017 and I'm starting to look for replacement when my car almost reached 21K miles. I really cannot belive a tire manufacturer as Michelin cannot make a tire that last longer. Don't take my word for it, you will see these tires have a warranty of 30K, so its not the way I drive, its the wy they are made. So do your math, they will last close to two years. In my opinion, a lot of money for just two years.

Not what I expected from Michelin.

These are the first Michelin tires I've purchased. Always thought they were excellent tires but was I surprised. They are rough riding, noisy, not good traction in snow and on the highway you feel as if you are riding on street car tracks. Had car check out and found there was nothing wrong with it. First and last Michelin tires for me.

The Premier A/S is everything I expected ...

I have a set of 4 Premier A/S tires on a 2013 VW Jetta TDI wagon. I replaced the O.E. of Continental Contacts at 55,000 miles. I was down to the last 2/32 on the Continentals before buying the Michelins. I am totally impressed with this tire. They handle well, they are quite and they perform well on normal road conditions. I ended up buying the Michelin Premier A/S tires after reading the technical info and product description as well as the customer reviews which were mostly positive. The final decision came down to price. When I went to buy tires the Premier A/S they were $20 per tire cheaper than the Michelin Primacy MXV4.
