Outstanding

2012 Buick, over 62,000 miles on Premiers, 124000 on the Buick, trying to decide whether to keep running them, or get new tires before winter. Great ride, happy with gas mileage, no issues with this set. I keep Michelins on the Buick and on my 2000 Silverado HD 4x4 pick up (254,000 miles, E rated strength tires for heavy loads, etc.) Glad Premier model is still available - Buick on Michelin Premiers is the best and safest ride there is! Smooth ride , great handling, smooth on stops.

I bought these tires last week and notice a big difference compared to my Firestone Assurance t/a's. Smooth when stopping, quieter than my previous tires. I read other reviews and some claim at about 30k to 40k are needing new tires. I can understand why, its due to the gripping these tires have. They will wear down a bit more if they grip better. The way i see it, i could get other tires that dont grip as well, and could have longer stopping and not as smooth or quiet or i can have the security in knowing i can safely stop and have control of my car. I think the Premier a/s are excellent.

So much better then OEM, and pretty much anything else.

I replaced the stock Nexen tires on my 2013 Elantra GT with the Premier A/S, and it is a decision I am happy about with every single drive. Much quieter, and in the Florida rains they make the car feel so very confident, as if the road were still dry. I don't have a negative thing to say after 10,000 miles, and they are wearing very little at this point. In dry weather , the car feels nimble, and grips the corners like glue. I highly recommend these tires.

Great ride, but terrible tread life!!

Great ride, but tread life wore down to 3/32" after only 26-27K and 26 months!!! I was shocked to learn after bringing my car to the dealer for an emergency flat tire repair that I needed to replace all *four* tires due to wear... I did not enjoy anywhere near estimated tread life advertised by Michelin. If I were in an emergency situation to replace the flat, I probably would have selected a different brand that lasts longer. I replaced with the exact same tires, but hope for better tread life. If note, this will be the last Michelins I purchase. Very disappointed...

Awesome Tires

I have a 2012 Mini Cooper . I had continentals on my car. I have 17000 miles on this car and the wear and road noise was unbearable . I knew the Michelins were the best tire out there. I purchased 195/55/R16 87v for my mini. What a difference the tire makes. No more noise and better all around tire. I am very satisfied with the Michelin brand. Always is the best tire for the money !!!

You won't go wrong with these tires. GREAT RIDE!

I'm the owner of a minivan with AWD. I was hesitant on what to tires to buy after the stock tires only lasted about 30K miles, so I did my (extensive) research. I was between the Latitude LTX, the Defender and the Premier A/S. The reviews for this last option didn't exactly convince me (4.3 out of 5 starts at the time) but ultimately decided over this tire after looking at it physically before purchasing. Let me tell you, it worked great! I've put already 3K miles on it between city driving and a road trip. These tires are a very comfortable ride and a great improvement over the stock tires in noise and handling. Would recommend to anyone -JV

They do last a long time!

I bought these tires in Nov 2014 for my 2010 subaru forester. Their wear exceeded my expectations! I've got 72,000 miles on them! I'm replacing them with the same tires again. It's true, in the rain they stop well, even as worn as they are. The only downside is road noise, but that's probably more in part due to the Subaru.

DINGY APPEARANCE & UNSATISFACTORY TREAD DEPTH

Had brand new 195/55r16sl87/v michelin tires put on my car about 2 weeks ago. i noticed the brownish, dirty appearance and mentioned it to the dealer, who would not comment. The 3rd day, i took my car to another dealer and expressed my dissatisfaction, and had it looked at. They found that the tread depth on each tire was 9/32 inches instead of 10/32. This is a flaw in Michelin's quality control. They were unable to tell me why the appearance was so discolored and shabby.

Noisy and rough with lots of vibration

I purchased the Premiers 3 months ago as a replacement for the mxv4 tires on a Lexus rx350. The mxv4 was smooth riding but finally wore out. I have have gone back to the tire store twice for vibration issues at high speeds. This did not happen while the mxv4's where on the vehicle so I thought it was a balance issue. I also took the truck to my mechanic once since I thought there had to be a problem with car. They said no, everything checked out. They said it is the tires. I would have bought the defender if it fit this vehicle. I haven't had any problems with the defender. Maybe these premiers will improve in the next 55000 miles before they wear out. You shouldn't think about tires while you are driving but these force you too. These are my 7th or 8th set of Michelin's.

Horrible treaflife, good traction

Tire is great in rain, however just like everyone else the tire only lasted 33k miles. Extremely disappointed with Michelin. We bought these premium tires because of the 60k mileage warranty, and while there is warranty who the heck wants to battle Michelin on getting the warranty? Have you read the warranty? Need to document every tire rotation, can't have one tire more with more tread depth than the other, etc. so many ways to deny. Won't be going with Michelin brand anymore.

Operator101, I don't see that you have been in contact with our Consumer Care team. We'd suggest having the selling retailer (if possible) inspect the tires and call us while you are there with their findings so that we will know how to proceed.
