Absolutely Brilliant

Time and time again, Michelin tires exceed expectations. I had PS/2s on my previous car and was very happy with them. When I purchased a different car, it did not arrive with Michelins so I drove on them for a little while, and then found an excuse to replace them when part of the sidewall was peeling. I purchased Pilot Super Sports and they are fantastic. The ride in my car is so much smoother and they grip through the corners very, very well. Michelins are far and way the best tire you can get and worth every penny.

Top Notch Performance Tire!

Before buying I did lots of research and it was nearly unanimous that the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the absolute best wet and dry performance tires you can get for my car (Honda S2000). If you have a nice sports car that might see wet road conditions, this is the one for you. While a softer Extreme Summer Performance (ESP) tire is a bit better in dry conditions, this tire will give you superior wet grip. Plus, it'll have more life than an ESP tire. I've been very happy with this tire and hope they'll give me many miles of life.

Great tire for a CTS-V

Great tire. Grips excellent. Predictable behavior when you want to get the rear end to slide. Quiet tire. Really great in the wet! There is literally no reason (I know of) to buy another tire if you have a higher performance car that you need to perform on the street and track.

Didnt last long

Only 8500 miles on a new 2018 C63S AMG with 285/30ZR20 in rear and 255/35ZR19 in front. The rears are gone and only have another 500-1000 miles of life left till they are completely shot out. The front tires are holding up just fine. Very disappointing. I have never done any burnouts and never taken any long road trips and only drive the car hard occasionally on regular roads.

Second Set

I just bought my second set of PSS tires for my Lexus IS350C. I had about 25,000 miles on them, which is good considering I can't rotate the tires due to the size difference between front and rear. I didn't have any handling issues as the tires aged, and I didn't notice much difference in noise. This tire is outstanding in the dry or wet. Hopefully, I get another 25,000 miles out of these!

Mercedes-Benz AMG

Last year, I replaced the OEM tires on my Mercedes-Benz AMG with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I use the car mainly on the highway for long trips and seek out winding mountain roads. With the Super Sports, the turn-in is better, corning grip is better, they are as quiet or quieter, the ride is better and they have lasted 40% longer with the same kind of use. Plus, they are less expensive than the OEM brand. Great tires and excellent value!

Best tire made since the original X

I have only ever bought Michelin because they usually are OEM equipment but mostly, I have the utmost confidence in the company. I own over 15 Vintage Lincolns all with their original Michelin X or XA radials. They still do not even look like they have been driven on. Now, these New Super Sports not only are lasting but look good, handle like a dream and ride like I'm on a cloud. Two of the tires didnt even require any weights. The other two only took 1/4 oz. Ive never had a car that had a perfect balance and Ive had over 100 cars in my lifetime. These are the finest tires since the original X which came on the 68 1/2 Lincoln Mark III. These make my car ride like IM on a cloud. I wouldnt have any other tire. The only thing is they should be about 340 tread wear to keep up with the Contientals but other than that. No complaints here!!! These are leaps and bounds ahead of the original Pilots. Those are the WORST wearing tires EVER. I made the dealership change them 3 times. I finally gave up and bought the Super Sports. Best thing I ever did. Don't try and save a few dollars and buy anything but these tires. That is if your application calls for Utra Ultra High Performance tires. My CL 600 which is a bi-Turbo V 12 and has a 25k suspension is very finicky about what it rides on and this tire can handle what ever is thrown its way. Congradulations Michelin!

A lot of tire for the money.

I own a BMW 330ci. The Michelin Super Sport seem to be a perfect fit for my car. They are quiet and provide a comfortable ride with a sidewall that compliments the sport suspension with better compliance over sharp bumps compared to other tires I have used. The handling is just exceptional and I am most impressed because the grip is so sticky and, yet, wear is negligible after several thousand miles. And the price was right. My aim is to provide honest feedback and, to be honest, I cannot find a thing wrong with my Pilot Super Sports. I am completely satisfied with their performance and would buy them again.

Best street tires on my Audi

I am on my second set of these on my Audi Avant (255/35/19) and am very impressed. They are incredibly durable and when I do track days in the rain I leave these on and they have performed very well for a street tire. The only problem I ever encountered was at a two day track event where I expected rain and instead encountered 90-100+ temps. The edges of the tread blocks did incur some chunking but with more than 3 degrees negative camber and high temps, it was not unexpected. Overall wear was minor even with that abuse...and that is a 4000 lb wagon being pushed to keep up with so called "sports cars" By comparison, the OEM tires from an Italian manufacturer wore out very quickly and were prone to flat spotting if the car sat undriven for a week or more. Two other models from a German company were noisy and also lasted less than 12k miles each. I should disclose that I have been given 2 sets of The Italian company's tires and currently have a third set of their Dot-R compound tires mounted on my track wheels. Regardless, I prefer the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and think it is a phenomenal tire for longevity as well as grip all with minimal tire noise. I recommend them to all of my friends seeking high quality perfomance street tires that last and know that a set will soon be replacing the older Michelin PS2's currently on my Mercedes E55 AMG. Please make these in a size for my Cayenne Turbo (295/35/21)

best street tire PERIOD!

i have a 06 G35 with all of the bolt old parts. Keeping it NA. this tire is great for what i bought it for- high performance driving wet or dry. Very, very quiet, well balanced & smooth riding. I have these for when I have to have fun. The tread wear is good considering how well they stick in normal conditions wet and dry. I have a new found joy of driving after these. I would DEFIANTLY get a new set once these turn into slicks. Minor grip about the tire is after it heat cycles there is brown on the side walls.
