We have had Michelin Defender tires before and loved them. They rode nice and smooth on our 2011 Toyota Sienna. Then we hit a nail on the sidewall and our dealer was out of Defenders. We regret putting other tires on. Just put our 3rd new set of Defenders on and happy.

I've used Michelin tires for many years and never had a problem. I have a vibration problem with my Kia (1007 Sportage) and every thing, and I mean everything, has been checked and the last resort was to put 4 new tires on. I put on the same tire that were on the car, Michelins of course. The current tires were near aging out even though they were only about half worn out. So new tires—but the same vibration. Now what do I do. The car has been gone over twice by two different tech, both fully certified and both are stumped. Now what. The tires are great though.

Absolutely love these tires, recommended by several Pali owners. Better than the Hancock Better than the Hancock tire that Palisade comes with by default if you can believe that. I'm a Realtor and I cover a large geographic area so I spend countless hours and days driving. The ability to be able to make calls to my customers without all the background noise and a comfortable ride are absolutely paramount! I purchased my Michelin Defender 2 radials as replacements for my unacceptable OEM tires when we purchased our new 2024 Subaru Forester, insisting that the dealer replace those tires with the much-superior Defender 2s. It caused a bit of a stir but they went along with it and we couldn't have been happier since then. Between the Ice-X 3s that we roll with during the winter months, our Forester is "Michelin-covered" year-round and for many years to come!

Bought as a replacement for Primacy AS. The Primacy were down to 4/32 by only 33K miles. The defender 2's were louder and not nearly as good in the wet. Also not a fan of the sidewall near the tread. Probably looks good on an SUV, but no so much on a sedan. A bit rugged looking. Exchanged for the Primacy AS again... i'll deal with them not lasting as long for a smoother quieter ride and more confidence in the wet.

I have not had a new set of tires in quite some time, and I just bought a set for my Rav 4. Love the way they feel, the way they hug the road and feel so much safer. I don't recall ever purchasing Michelin brand before and wish I had for sure! Definitely can tell the difference. It will be the brand I pick and recommend from now on.

The Michelin Defender 2 is an excellent upgrade for my 2018 Honda Civic EX-T. They offer great traction, smooth handling, and a quiet, comfortable ride. Wet and dry performance is impressive, and the ride feels more refined. With an 80,000-mile tread life, they seem durable and long-lasting. Overall, a solid choice for reliability and comfort.

I only use Michelin Tires on both of my vehicles, and have for many years, Michelin Defenders in the summer & Michelin X-Ice in the winter. I have always received great service, traction & ride, and highly recommend Michelin Tires to my Family & anyone who has asked.,

I had defender tires on my old vehicle… super quiet and smooth. They made it 110,000 miles.. super happy. So I bought the new defender2 tire. Something has changed in the compound of the defender2 tire. Rides much rougher and and not nearly as quiet as the continental tires that came on my MDX. Decent … but not overwhelmed by these tires.

bought defender 2 tires 2 years ago to replace primacy tires and just replaced tires on another vehicle with with defender 2 tires. Have had no trouble with first set although they are a little rougher tire on ride quality. On ice and wet roads they have provided good traction. Quality of tires seems very good Only downside is smoothness of ride is not as comfortable as the primacy tires were. Overall are a strong preforming tire
