They better last

If they don't, you'll be pro rating them. Nothing else to say

Replaced OEM Tires on 2005 MINI with ContiProContact SSR Run

I replaced the OEM Goodyear Run-flats on my 2005 MINI Cooper with these tires. They are run-flats, so by their nature they have a "stiff" ride, especially on a vehicle like a MINI Cooper. I have approx. 5000 miles on them, and so far I am satisfied with their performance, both in wet and dry conditions. I haven't driven in any ice/snow, so I can't make any judgments about their performance in that environment. They do appear to be somewhat quieter than the Goodyears they replaced. With only 5000 miles, its too early to make a judgment on tread-wear as well. I was able to get 50,000 miles out of the Goodyears (I am NOT an aggressive driver), and I am hoping to get just as much out of these.

Unhappy Tourx

Do not buy ProContacts. 3 of 4 tires failed.

I've run summer and winter continental tires on my last two cars. So I was happy when my new Buick tourx came with continental tires. Last fall all of a sudden my right front tire developed a horrible vibration. I decided I would just change to my winter tires and rebalance in the spring. This spring I put the tires back on and the vibration made the car undrivable. My local shop rebalanced the one tire but said it took a lot of weights and even though he couldn't see it there had to be a broken belt on that tire. Put two snow tires on and ordered two used tires. Before I could get the new (used) tires mounted I suddenly got another severe vibration on one of the front continentals. I makes that tire and changed that tire with the other rear tire that was still good. That tire now vibrates horribly too. Of the 4 original tires, 3 have failed horribly and suddenly. My only recourse is through the steeler and I'm not hopeful that I will get any relief. Hate these tires so much I will probably never buy Continental tires ever again.

Bimmer 328i Driver

I purchased this set of run-flat ContiPro Contact tires, as the OEM replacement for my '08 BMW 328i Sedan. The original set achieved 49K miles, which I thought was amazing. I drive mostly highway miles, with the remainder being local, in-traffic, fairly aggressive miles. However, this replacement set shows significantly more wear (at wear bar), at the 21K mile point. I feel like the useable tread life will likely run out, well before the 49K "bar" that had been set by the originals. The performance of the tire is better than average, with very good wet/ dry traction. Icy roads obviously offer a substantially greater challenge, leaving the tires as "so-so" performers. Braking distance is excellent on dry roads, and very good on wet. The performance, however, could also be greatly attributed to this car, in particular. Road noise levels are ok, but should/ could be better. I would not say that it's obnoxious, but I have had much better results from a non-run-flat tire.

Overall, very good.

I have these on my Audi A8. They handle very well on dry roads, wet roads, and snow. A very good all around, all season tire for a person that doesn't swap between different sets of tires. If you are going to only put one set on and leave it, these are a very good choice.

Meh

These were the OEM tires on my Jetta. They were good to me while I racked up about 35,000 miles on the tires in the first year I had the car. After adding all those miles my situation changed and I did not have to drive nearly as much for the last two years. I had been coping with a slow leak on one tire and began saving up the money for a new set when another one developed. I just crossed 40,000 miles a little while ago and am due for a new set, especially now that the leaks have caused my tires to wear a little extra. For what they offer these tires are too expensive, so I am going with one of a few similarly rated tires I've found that are about $100 less for a set.

I would NOT ever buy these or Continental again

I always use Michelin tires but my 2017 Honda Touring only came with these. They are the worst tires I have ever owned in my life. I rotated and balanced them every 6K miles, check the air pressure every 3-4 weeks, and they are almost ready to be replaced at only 30K miles. The funniest thing is at about 6K i hit a small pothole in the road and the tire went flat. I replaced that tire with a new one and that one is the most worn tire at 4/32 and the others are at 5/32. Garbage tires. I have to start looking because these are almost gone and it won't be continental tires thats for sure!!!
