When you receive this mattress it comes rolled up tight and the instructions say to let it expand for 3 days, I let it expand for 5 days, and it only expanded to 11 inches tall, so only and inch short but it is sold as a 12 in thick mattress. The mattress it self is very comfortable, I usually wake up pretty stiff and my lower back in a lot of pain, the first two days of use there was no difference but after the third night I woke up with no more back pain and I’ve been sleeping a lot better, took a few days to get acclimated but I haven’t had any pain since. A major plus to this mattress is sometimes I wake up and get out of bed a lot earlier than my husband and can move around and get out of bed without disturbing him because the entire mattress does not move. It is essentially a giant piece of memory foam, so there is not much give, I like that a lot but it does bother my husband a bit, that’s a bit of personal preference, it did take a day or two to get used to the non springiness of the mattress. Lastly the visual look of the mattress is beautiful, it has very straight edges compared to a traditional mattress so when you put sheets and a comforter on it the apart edges make it look very nice. Overall I love it, I no longer wake up stiff and with lower back pain, and I no longer wake up my husband when crawling out of the bed when I wake up earlier. Highly recommend.

bought this for 15 year old son along with a platform steel bed from sam's. Mattress came rolled up in a rectangular box which freaked us out a bit because we had never seen this done before. Plus, when we opened the box and unrolled the mattress, it was about 3 inches high. A note included said to let it rest 24-48 hours to allow it to grow to full size...It did just that. :) My son says the mattress is very comfortable.

I am not a mover and shaker during the night. I typically rotate from one side to the next never on my back nor on my stomach. This mattress cradles my sides and allows my body to melt into the mattress. This supports both my hips and my shoulders. For those with a very subtle body movement at night, this is a perfect mattress.

I really have to say I truly love the smartbase that came with this mattress it is so lightweight that I by myself was able to unpack it, put it together and take it upstairs all by myself, and this was the king size! The smart bass has these clips that click when the legs lock out and in order to get them to go back down you have to press the button on it so you know it's locked when you're using it. I have had bases similar to this before that were so heavy, and even though the king comes in two pieces, I had to have help moving it. It also breaks down and stores super flat which is so nice if you have to move furniture to paint or you have to move. It does not take up a lot of room stored. I was surprised at how small the box was that it came in when I put it together. The height of the base is 14 inches. The green tea mattress I have to say did not have a lot of offgassing like some of the other mattresses that are similar that I have purchased before from other brands. It comes with directions that tell you it needs to be opened as soon as you get it and let it rest for about 72 hours which I did, it did have a slight odor but that's to be expected for anything that's been wrapped in plastic and that is a memory foam mattress but it was definitely not bad. I could be in the room with it and be in the house without it bothering me. The smell that it did have disputed so fast I was actually really impressed with that. After getting everything set up and sleeping on it for about two weeks I noticed that my back did not hurt as much as it normally does. The mattress is probably more of a medium stiffness not overly soft and not as hard as a medium firm mattress like my previous one was. it does hug you a little bit when you are sleeping so you don't feel a lot of movement from anybody else it's in the bed. The one thing though I did notice that after having it set up for a long time and sleeping on it is that the 12 inch mattress actually measures out to be more of around 11 inches good thing to know for purchasing sheets so you do have a little bit more options in sheets than a normal 12 inch mattress.

Fantastic mattress. Fantastically thick mattress. Firm but gives enough to feel plush and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality as I had never purchased a mattress in a bag. What a pleasant surprise. Super glad I went with the 12” as it is very luxurious.

I bought the green tea queen in September and love the firmness. My back feels much better in the morning. We have decided to replace all of mattress in the house with Zinus mattresses and the box springs. Box springs are top notch. My only complaint is the mattress tends to slide on box spring. Two-side Velcro solved the problem.

I ordered the Zinus 12" Green Tea Memory Foam Full Mattress for our grandkids room for him to sleep on when he stays over. I have not received the box spring yet, so we put it on a gueen box spring that we already had. The mattress comes in a box rolled up inside a plastic sleeve. It is quite easy to unpack and "release". I would say that within 24 hours the mattress had fully returned to the correct shape. It has been 48 hours now and it is measuring at 11" thick. It has a very soft mattress cover. The mattress is firm, but soft enough to conform to your body. I don't really notice a scent associated with the mattress. This will be a perfect mattress for the grand and for guests to sleep on.

Alright folks, so I have the Cal King Zinus Night Therapy Green Tea memory foam mattress. This is the first memory foam mattress I have ever had and have been sleeping on it for 2 weeks now. This mattress was easy to set up came in a box roughly 4 ft tall and weighing close to 100 pounds. My wife and I unrolled it right onto our box springs and removed the plastic. Within seconds the mattress came alive forming into its full form within 2 min. Now the instructions state that it takes from 24 to 72 hours to fully form (we only waited about 14 hours and it was fine). A slight odor but nothing that wasn't what was stated from the instructions. Now the important part, sleep. This memory foam mattress seems really firm. My 6 year old was pretty upset he couldnt get the spring from bouncing on it like the old mattress haha. So I am a belly sleeper and so is my wife. I slept great! My wife even enjoys sleeping on her back now which she said shes never been able to do. I am giving it a 4 star just because it is, in my opinion, a more firm mattress and thats not really how I read or expected it would be. But other then that after 112 hours of sleep I do wake up refreshed and ready for my day. Though in the last couple nights I did wake up with a little neck pain, but that could be from the way I was positioned. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a cheaper option for a mattress at the Cal King price of 450, Its very economy friendly.

I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve always only had traditional interspring mattress’ and was a bit reluctant to try something different but after many a sleepless night due to the aches and pains of an aging body and the promise of some relief with a memory foam mattress I placed my order and haven’t regretted it for one moment. I’ve had many a restful night since my new mattress arrived!

This bed is very firm, unfortunately it doesn’t give the firmness in any of the descriptions. We don’t mind a firm bed but this was much firmer than we could handle. We ended up having to add a mattress topper to be able to sleep on it. To be fair, this bed is great - a great price for what it is - and maybe it would be softer after extended use or in a different climate (we live in cold Wyoming). We did appreciate that it does not sleep hot and that you do not disturb your partner with movement. If it was softer, I would rate it 5 stars.
