Defrosted this in the fridge & put it in the crockpot on medium. I added onions and pepper. It was an impulse buy for aparty! Turned out great! Put it over a buns with cheese- mozzarella was best choice! Everyone really enjoyed trying something new!

This Italian beef is great just the way it is out of the bucket. No need to add any seasoning or no need to dilute it with water because it's too salty. It has a mixture of seasonings and spices. Perfectly balanced flavors and following the instructions on how to prepare it; it comes out with the perfect texture.

PAPA Charlie’s! This is the beef to buy! Can’t beat this beef for hosting parties at home. Simple to heat up and serve. I add black pepper to mine and it gives it a great added flavor. I always get compliments on the beef and people are surprised that’s it’s frozen. Great value for the money.

Surprisingly good, I purchased in the past but we were not a fan. Budget is tight so I gave them another try and I was pleasantly surprised

I buy this for Christmas Day buffet every year. The meat is tender and flavorful. The price at the club is great. Put the meat in a slow cooker all day along with peppers and it makes a great sandwich.

Papa Charlie’s beef is so tender and the gravy had just the right amount of flavor, not overpowering like the other Italian Beef I’ve purchased. There is enough meat in this container to make 5 large sandwiches. I will definitely purchase this again for my family.

Sometimes “You Get What You Pay For”! Being a Chicagoan, Italian Beef is A staple, go-to fast food sandwich that never disappoints. Oftentimes I enjoy making sandwiches at home with the family. Although we may never get the beef to bread ratio correct, we can make our own sandwiches however we want. This particular time we got a tub of papa Charlie beef from our Sam club and it was not up to par. Too much liquid not enough meats and the meats we got in our tub were the the bottom of the barrel scraps. This was a let-down because I was yearning for a beef sandwich. Next time I will consider Buona Beef Tub

I'm afraid it did not stack up for us. The broth was watered down, diluted, the meat was processed beef. We are accustomed to Buona Beef. Four pounds vs Papa Charlie's 5 pounder for the same price but the quality and flavor is with Buona product.
