Govee has by far the best looking string lights, however these are 100% not able to survive outside. I have gone through three sets of these lights within a month, all three sets have been ruined from light/medium rainfall. The bulbs fill with water every single time, on the third set I even went through with plumbers tape to try and seal the bulbs and the top portion off better, but they still fill with water every time. Support replaced the first two strings and currently waiting response on this third one, but I wish they'd fix these since they're so nice and have a great app behind them ;-;

Colorful and waterproof with some great preset patterns. First set is around our pool enclosure. Second set is going on the gazebo. Not sure about the third set yet, but maybe on the privacy fencing. We will have a colorful personal paradise. So far they've been great.

I have several outdoor Govee lights on my camper. Everyone loves them and compliments them. It is especially fun to put them in Music mode when we are sitting around a fire. They actually pick up laughter better than the music which makes them even more fun. I really love how they augment my campground experience!

There is no rainbow light mode on this set. Also for being the highest wattage govee string light, they are pretty dim. There is one light scene called illumination and its Significantly brighter than any other setting. Illumination is 3 or 4 times brighter than manually setting the color to white and max brightness.

Great product. User App a little wonky. Needs a YouTube video to explain how to use it. Wish that strings could be connected to make longer systems on the same power cord. 15 lights in 50' is about 10 lights too few. Overall product quality and options is amazing. Packaging and related items are well thought out. It would be a 5 ⭐️ rating with a few more lights per string and app improvements.

As the light set by themselves go great. My only complaint would be the inability to connect more than 3 5-light strings. If you need more length than that, you have to use the module and figure out how to get power to it. But as they look and as the stock scenes, they did a pretty good job and you always have the option of creating your own if you need something else as well as sharing it. So, that was great. On the Govee app side, these lights are not allowed to group. That is kind of a pain. I hope that this gets fixed with newer releases. On the Integration side, I use Home Assistant. I have other lights that detect and work with it but these lights do not. I also hope this will be fixed in the future. But overall with Govee my biggest complaint as far as integrations go is that the scenes are not an option you can use. With Home Assistant you get on/off dim or all 1 solid color.

I took my time putting up the lights as they are “permanent”, but they went up extremely easy. My wife loves the way it brightens up the outside of the house. You can't even see that they are there until turned on. I just wish there was a site to explain how to create your own lightings and save them for future use. I did figure it out with some trial and error and searches on the internet. But it did take ma a while to figure it out. Absolute time saver.

This was my first Govee purchase. They dazzled me all summer until a massive storm came through and they stopped working for a bit. When they stopped working I immediately purchased the newer RGBIC bulb lights. Of course this strip started working again a few days after the storm and everything dried out. Leaving me with double the lights on my patio opened me up to playing with the music settings and eventually upgrading the lights throughout my apartment. Even though they lost functionality after that big storm, they recovered and I'm still really pleased with these lights. I'm not sure how long these will last overall, but I like the way some of the modes look on them compared to the longer bulbs in the newer models. I really wish like the LED rope light Govee has you could control the speed of the modes on this device, so many are too fast and flashy.

For the price of these waterproof led string lights, I actually expected them to BE waterproof. After just one day, the bulbs have water in them and they won't work correctly and they do not all come on. They are being used in exactly the manner they are intended. I'm very disappointed. Especially since I bought 12 sets in total. I suppose I will send back the ones I have not used.
