Similar to John barr, awful taste when it comes to whiskey, tastes like it has been brewed the day before they sell it. Instantly makes my throat burn in a way that is not pleasant and makes too much acid in the stomach. Every time I tried to drink it, it was instant regret. Make it a little bit softer and it will have the perfect taste. Thank for your time

On the nose it is peaty, peppery and citrusy. On the palate rich with oaky, peaty, citrusy and spicy nuances. Finish is long with peaty, fruity and caramel notes. It is one of the best 12 year old blended whiskies in the world and my personal favorite. However it does not smell and taste as it used be around 10 to 15 years ago. I think they use less Talisker in the composition now as the whisky is much less peaty. In addition the manufacturers seemed to have used older whiskies in the blend earlier as Black Label always felt like as if it were more matured than 12 years. But now the company have Green Label which is 15 years old vatted malt without any grain whisky in the blend. I think it is the reason more matured malts now go to the Green Label. However good whisky Black Label can be it is still distiguishable that it is not exactly what it used to be. Still I personally love it and think it deserves its reputation.

I consider JW Black to be an excellent, neat drinking whisky, which is, perhaps, best not over-analysed. I can understand why some whisky ‘experts’ on these pages are rather dismissive of it due to it’ rather uncomplicated taste. Black label was one of my favorite alcohols of all time. When I used to drink, Johnnie Walker was always one of my favorites. Who doesn't love that traditional smooth scotch or blended scotch whiskey? Depending on the label. I would recommend Johnnie Walker to anyone who wants a good high quality liquor to sip on and just enjoy.

this Johnnie Walker is the best Johnnie Walker I've ever had in my entire life it's a little pricey but I would highly recommend it. Every person should at least try this Johnny Walker at least once in their life no matter of the price tag even if you think it's a lot of money.

For it's price point, this stuff is pretty great. You can find it relatively cheap during the holidays at liquor stores. I like to have a bottle of this at my place for my male friends who've taken up scotch drinking as a hobby. It's a great tier of scotch that doesn't break the bank.

When ordering a high quality scotch I always go for johnnie walker black label. Its very flavorful and smooth to sip on. I was very pleased by the quality of ingredients used to make this outstanding scotch. Id highly recommend is youre a scotch drinker

I'«m not the most whiskey drinker in the world but my husband definitely loves this whiskey. I like their package they price and the flavor. Real good soft and wood flavor for my taste is great but like i said not what I'«m used to drink. For a night with my hubby love to drink it at home with 2 ice that'«s how my husband told me to do or straight so go girls try it so good

Great for the price point. It has the complexity and depth of a higher end scotch but doesn't have a higher end price tag. I prefer to drink it on the rocks but it's good neat as well. Lately it's been my go to scotch and it's what I always drink at work.

This is definetely not for just anyone. You have to really enjoy a good whiskey to drink this. I love Irish whisky but this was a bit too much like scoth for my taste. Great to sip and smoke cigars (how I had it the last time) but it is not my first choice for a whiskey.
