Already Worn Out by 2/3rd of the Rated Miles

These are the OEM tires that came on my Pacifica Hybrid when we purchased the vehicle new. The vehicle just crossed over 40k miles on the odometer and these tires are very near the end of their service life (down to the last 2/32" of tread). Other than the rather disappointingly fast wear (for tires warrantied for 60k miles), they drive well in most normal driving conditions (dry, wet, highway speeds), but are TERRIBLE in the snow. I'm not sure if it's because of the high amount of instant torque the hybrid drivetrain makes or it's just these tires, but it's very difficult to get traction from a stop. Even in wet conditions, if you try to pull away from a left/right hand turn, it'll lose traction on the inside wheel and spin the tire. I drive my other car (much lighter sedan) with BFGoodrich tires on it similarly and it rarely breaks free.

GREAT TIRES..HANDLES THE ROAD IN BAD WEATHER

I placed 4 new Michelin Tires on my 4Runner in 2012. I just changed them this year. Because of the Covid, I had a hard time getting them and put a brand that compares. The tread was barely worn. I drive between 15,000-30,000 miles a year. I live in Baltimore and these tires, Michelin, never failed me in the snow or rain. I never got stuck in mud. Well, I am putting Michelins on my Corolla. Toyota only had 4 of my tire size left and I have to move quickly because of the Covid. I don't care what the cost is.

DISAPPOINTED

My car is an 09 Buick Lucerne CXL which came a set of MXV4 energy tires (best tires ever!). I was one of the first to buy a set of premier tires and was expecting something like my original set of energy tires (81,000 miles on them). I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. These tires are nothing like my originals. They ride hard, are loud, handling is not too good and have a vibration around 70 mph, which is probably due to the large amount of wheel weights added. I'm headed back to exchange them for the MXV4 plus tires at an added expense since I can't get the H rated tire instead of the V rated.

Some of the best tires I've ever owned.

These came on a used car I bought and I'd never paid much attention to tires before. These tires have been amazing though, noticeably better than any I've ever had under every condition. They're not quite winter tires but they're the best all around tires I've ever seen.

Highly over rated tire with very poor tread wear/life

Purchased 7/2017 and rotated every 6k -7k. I have 28,000 miles on these tires and treadwear is down to 4/32. Still fine in dry weather, just ok in rain and unsafe in snow. Tires are on a 2005 Honda Accord 4 cylinder, not a sports car. Warranty claim opened with Michelin and we will see what happens.

A satisfactory TIRE

I am using the Pirelli tire, and this time I am installing it as a Michelin Premier AS.I have read a lot of reviews and chose this while considering the Michelin pilot sport as3 + model until the very end.The choice point is based on quietness, I rate it as a satisfactory tire.

They got rid of the MXV4 for this?

After excellent performance from a set of MXV4 (H) on Lexus ES350 I learned the MXV4 had been replaced by the Premier A/S and I eagerly purchased a set. Extremely disappointing! Has fairly good traction dry/wet with worsened gas mileage of about 5%. Theoretical snow traction irrelevant. The A/S has a harsh, stiff ride which transmits every minor road surface imperfection as jarring and vibration to the cabin. Loud on asphalt, but the 'singing' noise on concrete pavement is so loud as to be distracting and tiresome. Looking for a real replacement in terms of ride and quiet for the MXV4? This expensive tire is not it.

not a happy driver

Driven 30,000 miles and I am miserable. At first, not so bad. But after a few thousand miles I started to get frustrated. I have felt every bump and expansion joint for the last 30,000 miles. Wear is OK, but what difference does that make when you are jolted at every road imperfection. may be able to squeeze another 10k, but these tires are making me hate my car. The Primacy mxv4 that were replaced were a better tire/smoother ride. The wet traction is still fairly good for running 30,000 miles. At least they got that right. Have a set of Michelins on our Explorer and they are great. Just feel these are a poor design.

Lasted a while

Purchased a set of these in 2015 and put 80617 miles on them since I track total miles every time I get fuel. Mileage was in moderate climate with all weather and virtually all interstate highway (along I-66), maybe a few hundred miles outside of that. Decent performance in packed snow or ice a few years back, but I am a decidedly cautious driver on those surfaces. Need to replace them now as they're getting very low tread and a little slippery on wet surfaces although still performing well enough to easily drive at speed so long as substantial follow distance is given.

Great tires

Replaced my OEM tires for my Chevy CRUZE, Wow what a difference in handling and road noise. I recommend these tires. Can't wait until next winter to see how they handle in the snow. The only reason I am dropping it one star is the price. I never sent so much for tires. (MICH Premier A/S 215-60R16 95V - 22475). I didn't rate Wear-Life and Fuel Efficiency because I don't have enough information to rate them.
