Stylish, but some confusing design

Stylish, but some confusing design choices, especially in regards to the timer. My expectation was the analog clock would display the real time, while the digital display would show the remaining time for the timer. Instead it displays it has slices of the analog face. It uses the harder to read inner part of the circle when it could have used the easier to read outer edge. Each button press advances it one minute, so if you overshoot you have to go all the back around, and it doesn't allow you to hold the button to auto advance it, despite allowing that for setting the time. Mildy disappointed by this, but otherwise a decent watch

Thanks TIMEX for the REISSUE!

Had one of these 'back in the day". When I saw the reissue, I had to get it! Was a watch fan in the 70's, but it turned to a hobby as the years rolled on. Appreciate unique watches, not necessarily pricey ones... this one is a perfect addition to my collection. Hope it "takes a lick'n..." 'cuz I'll be wearing it often!

Gorgeous watch with defective display

I just received my LCA in the mail today and noticed the display is crooked. After searching online, I have found more people who have purchased this watch who have experienced the same issue. The quality of the case and bracelet are excellent but under no circumstances should a watch face be misaligned like this. I have purchased multiple Timex watches, with this being my first digital model. I was looking to purchase a T80 Pac-Man next but am a little hesitant at this point. Customer service asked me to send photos and that they would decide what to do from there. If they can’t provide a replacement quickly for such an obvious defect, I may have to reconsider my brand allegiance.

Not unless you wear reading glasses all the time

It's a great looking watch. I love the ana-digi display and brushed gold tone, but I can't read it to save my life. The text is too small and everything on the dial disappears at an angle. If you're not looking straight at it with reading glasses on it's nothing more than a gold bracelet. And the light is frustratingly, laughably useless. Pushing the light button only turns on the tiny (and I do mean tiny) light on the side, but nothing is illuminated. Even in a pitch black room, it does nothing. I'm not exaggerating. I appreciate being faithful to the original, but in this case that was misguided. INDIGLO would have made this watch truly great. It's a nice bit of retro fun to look at, but I can't recommended it to anyone who doesn't have the eyes of an eagle.

Wow, what a trip back in time!

I must have been sleeping under a rock since I just found out about this re-release. Once I saw it I had to get it. I remember these cool Timex watches when I was a kid in the 80's, and boy does it not disappoint. This watch is cool, looks great, and has great features (timer, chrono, alarm, dual time, date, day of the week, etc,). I've read all reviews here and many criticize the light and wanted indiglo. Great work Timex for not falling for it. They did upgrade the bulb to LED while keeping the retro feel of the watch, so you can see the time at night (although you will have to focus). Indiglo would have ruined it since the retro vibe and nostalgia of this watch is what makes it so cool. Thank you Timex for for bringing me back in time. I will purchase the silver one (stainless) once I can!

Solid Reissue... the imperfections make it

Great reissue; very nostalgic. I’m happy with quality; and believe any perceived imperfections are in keeping with the reissue... this was a 70s watch! One of the first ana-digi watches out there. The light is comically bad, yes, but that’s how it was at the time. Indiglo came a decade later. I show people the light in order to prove its bona fide reissue. It’s a fun talking point. The buttons are stiff but still usable. And the display looks fine to me. I got the second batch of this stock late last year and it’s only crooked if you look under a microscope. It wears well on the wrist and doesn’t bother me. Photos below. The look is what I love. It’s sleek, slips under your sleeve neatly and feels dressy despite being digital. The brushed metal case is a nice touch. Very happy overall. More digital reissues please! Received the second wave of stock for th

The Q Timex Reissue Digital LCA 32.5 mm

It’s been a year now that I’ve had that watch along with, in the same purchase, my favorite of all, the Navi XL. When I was a child I had a Timex Melody with a rubber band, there were four buttons, one at each corner and five different melodies. I adored it as being a symbol of cool. The last I saw of it, the band was broken and the electronics in it didn’t work. When I saw that Q reissue I was excited to rekindle with my youth by owning a digital Timex. I’ve had some people asking me about the functions on it. I like the dual time that I set at London time so I can be ready for the Premier League matches. This is a classic! I love everything about it!

What a blast from the past!

Absolutely a homage to Timex's late 1980's quartz digital-display greatness! Everything is just about right with this re-released model -- even down to the bulb that lights up the screen when you press the "light" button. The beeps and chimes are period accurate to deliver the perfect overall nostalgic experience. Timex made a lot of good choices to keep the experience authentic -- especially not "updating" the light to Indiglo. It keeps all of the 1980's feel, sounds, dimensions, and looks. What a great piece!

Fair.

The look of the watch is amazing. The only issues I have is that it is advertised as having a bright white LED background(See EVERY picture) and the backlight on the watch is useless. Given those two issues I do not believe the watch is priced correctly and should be cheaper. I was tempted to return it but I just love the look of it.

Horrible watch. The light is

Horrible watch. The light is a joke. The edges of the strap are too sharp - additional issues if you have a hairy hand! This is just a piece of crap. Very disappointed to have bought it. Got cheated by the look. Timex quality is below par.
