Unbelievable!

All my tires are EagleĀ® LS-2 and 2 of them were recently installed and I couldn't ask for a better tire. The recent rain here caused about a dozen deep potholes on a small two lane freeway connector and at night I couldn't see them fast enough. I drove over so many potholes that my car's tires were bumping violently with loud noises. I make it though those potholes all thanks to those tires. If it wasn't for them I'd be on the side of the road like the countless others I say calling for a tow truck. I am truly grateful. Now, all I need is an alignment scheduled.

Tough tires, great ride

These tires have seen some shtuff. Nails, tie rods, plus 70, 000 miles, towing, rough gravel, and they have lasted through all with a great ride and reliability. Patches have held without an issue. Every mechanic I've brought this to has admired them. I'm about to buy my second set after I wore these poor things down.

99,000 miles on Factory LS2s

We own a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, tires came on vehicle from the factory. We kept up with the tire maintenance, tire rotations, air pressure, flats, things of that nature. We managed to get 99,000 miles out of the Factory LS2s, I bought another set, the car performs well and is very quite. I would highly recommend these tires for anyone looking for this type of life and comfortability from their tires, and also performance out of their current vehicle.

77000 Miles and climbing.

I have had four of these tires on my 2007 Silverado (275 55 R 70) for just over 77000 miles. They were on the truck when I bought it in 10/2011 with 62000 miles, and I just turned 139000 miles. I change my oil every 6000 miles and have the tires rotated every other oil change. I just had an alignment and one of the tires seems to whine/wow-wow at moderate speeds. I've never had tires last this long. I would definitely buy again, and will be doing so within days from now. That's why i came to this site.

Premature failure due to sidewall cracks

These 4 Eagle LS2 tires came with the brand new Acura TLX bought around Apr 2017. Now the meter says 26k miles. During my recent visit to Acura dealer, all 4 tires were recommended to be replaced due to lots of cracks on sidewall although all 4 tires still got 8/32 and 9/32 tread depth. Was not expecting these tires to be replaced at this low mileage and within 4 years. These tires had very bad quality.

Not good for daily long distance highway driving!

After buying various sets of 'Eagle' series tires over the years I made the mistake of replacing 2 of my 5 vehicle's set of tires with these Eagle LS-2's. One set was for a turbo Beetle factory recommended size and another set for my Silverado SS. Both vehicles wandered all over the road with the slightest bit of wind in any direction except directly from behind. The Beetle seemed to handle rough roads in the city fine under 45 mph, but the truck bounced terribly over the slightest crack in the road. The quick little bouncing that was constantly going on led me to believe that my shocks were going bad, and subsequently replaced them all with some high dollar gas shocks that gave no better drivability. I tried adjusting the air pressure in both vehicles up and down and found that nothing really made any kind of a noticeable difference. I would advise everyone to stay away from these tires unless you always drive on very smooth roads and always under 45 mph because they will wear on you as you fight the steering wheel constantly. I replaced the Beetle's set with an upgraded Goodyear Assurance Tripletred. What difference! And the Silverado SS now has Michelins. Both the Eagle LS-2's had to be removed from my vehicles with under 5,000 miles on them.

Great Tires - Great Installation

I've had this tire on several new vehicles and when it came time to replace i insisted on the same because of the great performance and long life. I can easily get 70k + miles on a set. Just once, I let a salesman talk me into what he said was an equal tire for less money. Those FS tires were worn out at 36k miles. I tow a 30' travel trailer occasionally and using the TPMS I can get a good idea if a tire is running hot. These Goodyear tires don't get hot under load which is a testament to their quality. I don't drive like grandma. Drove a C7 Corvette (it came with excellent Goodyear tires as well), went to Ron Fellows Corvette Racing School and drove my Corvette at home like I was on the track. I drive my 6.2L Silverado with these tires utilizing skills gained over time along with what I learned in Racing School. I'm a flangehead, kinda know my stuff.

A good overall tire purchase

I purchased this tire as a replacement for the Yokohama tires on my car. I immediately noticed better handling. The tires have a good stance and a nice tread pattern. No issues with ride quality. Wet traction seems different but maybe that is me being overly cautious in downpours. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend these tires as an affordable replacement

Jack of all trades, but a master of none.

This tires does a lot of things very well for the money, though it is no master of one thing, which is not a bad thing. My first impressions were that it was a very comfortable and quiet tire. Braking distance and turning traction was sufficient, but of course not as good as more sporty summer tires. Wet traction was great within the limits. There were no nervous moments when hitting standing water. I can't comment on longevity or snow driving, but overall a great tire for everyday commuting.

Great classic look, comfort and durability

I discovered the eagle ls2 tires in 2010. Great price, very nice sidewall look for my chevy truck and good looking thread pattern so I bought them and never used a different tire since then. I feel it adds comfort to the ride and noticed right away the great handling from it. I only have to replace them about every 4-5 years and I drive a lot. Now got 300,000 miles and only bought 3 sets. Would recommend to anyone.
