last set of 4 goodyear eagle ls2 275/55r20 tires lasted 10 years, 48000 miles, still had decent tread but began dry rotting after always staying outside in florida sun on my 14 silverado 1500 2wd. Always held air too. I was impressed %26 so bought 4 more from walmart.com with 4 new doorman tire pressure monitor sensors. I think these goodyear eagle ls2 275/55r20 tires are great tires and so bought again.

Tires ride pretty good. But, they wear very, very fast, even if you are rotating them correctly, and you "baby" the tires while driving (avoiding bumps, holes, etc.). When these wear out, I will not buy new Eagle LS-2 tires. I will replace them with something else (better).

These were the OEM tires on my VW - extremely smooth ride, quite, and good traction. At 31,000 miles they are done - was really hoping to get 40k out of them, but it's just not to be. As I look for replacements I was shocked to see the price of these. I'll be taking a different route on the replacement tires only because of the mileage I got out of this set. Rotated every 10k - excellent wear pattern.

ive gotten plenty of good use on the first set and got a touch over 51000 miles out of them. i finally replaced them today with the exact same tires. the only trouble i had is poor rain traction due to low tread life 2/32" . the rest of the tires life has been excellent because of following 100% of GM's maintenance schedule for rotates, balancing, alignments, and inflation checks once a month as listed by GM @ 30 psi. the rest of the reviews people write on these being bad tire are clueless on maintenance and proper tire care. Ive owned goodyear tires on all my vechiles from day 1 of driving and nothing will change and i am proud to know several people that make the finest tires in the country at the Akron, Ohio location.
