Break a tooth on these beauties!

Green pears as hard as concrete.

Big and Juicy

We love getting these from Sam's. They are bigger than pears in the regular grocery store and they are delicious. We haven't had any problems with them going bad like some other reviews. Hopefully our good luck with them keeps going because we love them.

If I could give it zero stars, I would.

We bought these over a week ago. They were as hard as rocks when we bought them home. I figured if I left them out on the counter, they would soften. Not a chance. They are still hard, disgusting and disappointing. Yuck!

Never ripened

Never ripened. This bagged version recently replaced the version that had the pears in a cardboard tray which were much better than these. Please bring back the older version.

Good taste, when not rotted.

Good taste. But often 2 or 3 pears have gone bad and can only be thrown out. These are way too expensive to be throwing out pears.
