The threaded knob to hold speed control on would not screw in any more than where it was in the box. I had to use many washers, 9, to take up that space to get it to hold. The fan also makes a high pitched whistle sound on low speed. The other two speeds are fine This can't be typical problems!

Sleep with fan on! The fan last for years and years. I have 2-3 at the office, one in the bedroom, family room, and upstairs. For the price, air flow and they last so long....absolutely the only fans I buy. Who needs a $300 shop fan when a couple of these works better?

I needed a fan to help cool my living room as my ac unit just wasn't enough especially on these hot ,humid days we've been having. Assembly took less than 5 minutes, fan is rugged and powerful! We first set it on high which felt like a hurricane especoally when today's temps so far aren't very warm so it got turned down to 1. Very impressed...I bet with one at each end of my room these would outdo my darn ac...just on 1! Thinking of purchasing more and not using the energy sucking ac unit...

I love this fan it was easy to put together it is a very powerful fan it cools off a room in a matter of seconds My daughter has diabetes and has heat control issues with the diabetes this fan worked very well I would purchase it again I would recommend it to anyone because it is a good fan and was very easy put together

Shipping was fast and free - arrived withing 24 hours of order. This fan is a smaller version of "Hurricane Fans" used in warehouses. It is well built, very easy to assemble, and most importantly- moves air. The wall mount option saved premium garage floor space.

The fan arrives and looked nice from out of the box. I had to return the fan because it would not come on at all. The box looked like it had been dropped from a 10 story building, all caved in and beat up...heavily damaged. We could hear the motor making sounds like it wanted to turn on but just wouldn't! I guess it was damaged from the movers or I just happened to get a lemon. We took it back to our Republic Missouri walmart for a full refund and drove across the street to purchase a fan from Lowes!

This is my second one to purchase, first one was last year to be used outdoors, this one for the bedroom. Good air output, stays put on tabletop with no wobbling on highest speed. Just the right amount of noise to help me sleep without being too loud.

Awesome fan! I purchased two of these about several years ago for my dog’s pen where he stays when I am not home. They run continuously day and night during the hot summer months here in south Mississippi. I just had to replace one this year! Nothing holds up like they do. I like how you can hang them up off the ground also!

Works great! I like that it's not heavy like older ones I've owned. Hoping that doesn't mean a shorter lifespan though. My reason for 4 stars is because the cord is just too short! I need to use an extension cord to get it plugged in and then out away from furniture so that it can move the air without being blocked by anything. Silly design, but it seems all electrical appliances are made "safer" with shorter cords for us dummies! So then we are forced to use extension cords which is so much safer! Not!

I really love this fan. My only complaint would be that when I change it to medium speed, it has a high pitched noise that doesn't really go away. It doesn't do it on low or high speed. The performance otherwise is what I had hoped for to circulate the a/c in my apartment.
