This fan is precisely what it proclaims. High velocity ! Folks, if you're looking for a window fan or a quiet in-house fan forget this one. However, if you're looking for a fan that delivers on the porch, under the shed (like me) or under a shade tree and one that can lull you to sleep with its velocity and grand "hum" look no further. It has good weight to it and does not walk. Seemingly good quality. Also I have ran the fan for 4 to 6 hrs. straight and the motor stays cool. Thank you.

I have owned this fan exactly 47 hours %26 I already want to go back %26 buy another one. I have 2 active dogs; one is a 4 mo old puppy. I can only stand to be inside in the a/c for so long before I need to bring him outside to burn off his energy in the giant outdoor furnace that is North Carolina right now. I had barely been able to stand sitting 2 feet in front of my 2 Pelonis box fans on high speed for an hour, at most; they are only $20 less %26 one of them is operating at half power even on high. *big thumbs down* This fan has made it possible to hang outside for as long as it takes to wear my puppy plum out. Funny enough, as I reached for the box at the store, a guy walking past my cart quipped, "Oh, that's a REALLY GOOD fan.". He was 100% right. Don't even waste your money on any other fans, unless you're looking for those expensive, humongous 4' tall shop fans...THIS is the one.

I bought this fan from sams 2 years ago and this is the best ever, i have never had to use the highest setting it blows air like no other fan. it is all metal and there is no signs of rusting my only complaint would be that it is VERY LOUD what else can you exspect from a big fan with big metal blades.

This is a great fan, it does move the air well. I bought it online and never had a chance to see it in a store working. It is quite loud. I keep the fan away from the living room so that we can hear the tv. If the noise does not borrow you, then then is a great fan. After awhile it becomes white noise.

This fan really blows, in a good way . Even on low it circulates lots of air. It is a little loud but if you are buying a fan that circulates air and can over look the noise , this is the one. I bought mine almost 4 years ago at Sams and wish I had the money to buy a couple more then. I am going to get another couple fans as soon as I can. I want one for my garage and one for the porch when I go out there to sit with the grand baby.

This is very well-made, sturdy construction and really moves a lot of air! I love the fact it can be wall mounted to keep it away from little fingers, too. My only complaint is that it is quite loud, even on the lowest setting but still a great value for the money!

I ordered this item for pick up. When I finally opened the box to use it, parts were missing. It says on the box that it comes with a wall mount but it does not. There was no instruction booklet either. It must have been open box that Sam's Club failed to check before putting it back out for sale.
