Bought 2 of these. When received, one of them didn't have screws in the front grille. One foot was broken. The other would not turn on. So i heard a hum. When i smacked it with my hand. It started slowly then sped up. We left it run for awhile still working. But seems to be a lot of problems with just having 2 of them. Oh well i put screws in the one. I guess they'll be ok. If not for the problem. Would've been 5stars...

This fan is a bit of a disappointment. I was expecting it be "better" than the other non-Pro Lasko fans I own. Far from it. The fan won't sit flat on a level floor...it rocks...like the case has a twist in it. The provided feet are almost impossible to install in their slots...and if you can get them into the slots. they don't keep the fan from tilting back when turned to the highest speed. It does move air well.

This fan definitely has more directed air movement and a little more power than the less expensive Lasko 20” box fan. The stabilizer feet — so far — keep the fan from tipping over on a regular basis. I’m not sure the stabilizer feet are better, but at least I don’t have to tape them on like I do for the cheaper fan. If the feet last longer, I may update my rating from 4-stars to 5-stars. (The stabilizer “feet” on the less expensive box fan model last about 4 months on average before the tongue breaks when the fan tips over.) The fan I bought was accidentally knocked off a short stool (18”) and the fan blades did not break off which was wonderful. The other box fan blades usually break if the fan tips over or falls off of the window sill, which happens about 25% of the usage time.

I brought this fan hoping it would have good white noise. I have trouble sleeping and fans help. I have the less expensive fan but it is quiet and really does not put out much air even on high. This wonderful red fan cools room even on its lowest power level. I had been researching to find the right one for over 6 months, The white noise is so soothing and great for anyone who wants the fan noise to sleep by. It has sturdy construction, the 5 blades gave out circulation that is powerful .. really cools air in room over 400 sq ft.

It's not Commercial grade or even near or worth $60's, standard house box fan, actually feels little less air flow than same brand fan I bought few years ago for around $30. False advertising not 25% more steal, same as my $30 fan. One review said metal blades, it's not all everything plastic like %2330 fan. Says 20% more velocity with wind ring. As mention feels less air flow, I think because little bit smaller motor. But if you like the Dark Red color, it looks kinda cool.

I have a box fan similar to this one that I love. I live in an older home and hesitant to put in a window ac in my guest bedroom window.Remembering my childhood I thought this would be a perfect solution in spring and fall to secure in the window.I haven't used it yet but excited to use it soon. I redecorated this room 60's style so this should fit in perfectly!

On high, it exchanges all the sir on the lanai in a minute or two. It’s also a little noisy on high. On low, it is pretty quiet and keeps air circulating quite well. It is lightweight but a little flimsy. It will fit in a full size window, but isn't made for that use.

Average quality at Best, generally not an industrial pro model. ours began squeaking and hard starting at about 1 year and stopped completely year 2. The power knob is poorly designed and sticks up just higher than the handle so you can't turn it off or adjust speed without lifting the window still which will rest right on the knot instead of the handle. Nothing special, buy a cheaper one and plan on throwing it out in a few years as you'll do the same with this lasko model

I purchased because it was described as commercial grade but looked exactly as a regular box fan and same price. I had just purchased a box fan for more than the cost of this one. The one from Sam’s has 3 settings.. the 2nd setting is stronger by far than the 3rd setting on the regular box fan .. I feel I got a great deal! Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this box fan through Walmart.com. I could not beat their price! I went on Lasko’s website and looked at all of their fans. I have owned some of their lower end box fans in the past. This fan is so much better. The seller was outstanding. Fast shipping.
