I bought the MICHELIN® CrossClimate®2 tires for my car after reading about their impressive performance in various conditions12. I have to say, I am very satisfied with my purchase. These tires are amazing! They stop shorter than other tires I have tried, both on dry and wet pavement. They also last longer, which is great for saving money and reducing waste. And they handle well on snow, which is important for me living in Northern Ohio. I feel safe and confident driving with these tires, no matter the weather. They are truly all-season tires that deliver on their promises. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, durable, and versatile tire. I bought a set of four of these tires for my 2017 VW Golf. The previous tires were OEM provided Continental ProTrack TX with about 40,000 miles on them. The old tread was getting low but still acceptable for Mass inspections. They also seemed to have developed a flat spot which was noticeable at low and high speeds. The Cross Climate 2 got very good review but in hindsight I don't recall seeing anything about highway mileage. On a trip I regularly make of about 70 miles with 60 highway, I would average 40-42 mpg. Now with these new Cross Climate 2 tires I only get 35-38 mpg. So after paying a top of the line tire I am going to continue to pay more every fill up through loss in gas mileage.

These Tires are being pushed as Wonderful, and were hyped by the Dealer, and were in Short Supply. Got a set, had them Mounted. Car previously had Michelin Premier LTXs, and had about 75,000km on them, and were down to 4.5/16 in, and Winter was upon us. The Old Tires, while they would spin when in 2wd, did surprisingly well in awd. In fact, I didn't notice any difference between them and the CC2s in AWD, 2WD was better with the CC2s. What I didn't like was that the Fuel Economy went in the Toilet. The Old Tires were giving me, on average 9.6liters/100km, the CC2s average at best 11.8liters/100km, that is about a 20% less fuel Economy. In city driving, that number shoots up to 14liters/100km. After 6 months of these Gas Guzzlers, and a Nail in the Sidewall, I am replacing them with Michelin Defender2s

I was really intrigued by the tread pattern, and at first thought that they could be a bit noisy. My mechanic said I would be surprised at how quite they are. I was replacing 4-year-old Michelins that I loved. And to my surprise these tires are almost silent compared to my previous ones! Well done, and the tire pattern has folks asking me about them frequently.

I currently own 5 cars all with Michelin tires and these are by far the loudest tires I've ever had on any of my cars. This is a 2016 VOLVO XC70 the tires have plenty of tread left on then, 7/32 rear, 6/32 front. Have been rotated religiously, front and rear alignment is perfect. The car has been into the Volvo dealer to check for other problems, ie. bad CV joint or wheel bearing. Everything checks out in perfect working order. You can NOT hold a conversation in the car above 60 MPH the towing is so loud. Very disappointed we hoped these tires would be a good replacement for the Hydro Edge we had on previous wagons. My other cars have Pilot A/S 4 and PS4 tires and those are as quiet as a church mouse by comparison.

I had Michelin Defenders for my Honda Ridgeline '17 (bought in Oct 22) they too were smooth and as I spend most of my time on the highway, they lasted a while. Now got the new Cross Climate 2 and I was impressed !! The tires are amazing, quiet, smooth and the truck handles a lot better. I would highly recommend them.

I have just purchased these tires so I do not know about their tractiion or duribility or performance yet. I do know that they are comfortable under the floor boards. A very smooth ride. I hope they will get me through a mountain winter in Colorado.

First off I’m a huge Michelin fan until now. Everyone raved about these so I plopped down a weeks take home and had them installed on my rogue. Huge mistake! I had primacy’s and absolutely loved them but these are horrendous. They ride like they’re filled with concrete, dropped highway mpg from 31 to 27 and produce a noticeable hum. To make matters worse, the vibrate @80 mph and all the balancing and alignment checks in the world can’t get rid of it. I bought an extra set of factory rims and had a competitors tire installed, which was almost 59% less and the vibration is gone. Bad tires! They do wear like iron is the only good thing I can say. I use these now for a winter tire and hope we don’t get snow so I don’t have to swap wheels out. So disappointed in what I spent for such a gimmicky tire.

The jury is still out on this tire. Fantastic job in the snow and winter! However, in the summer, it is a hard riding tire. I feel every bump in the road. I'll go through the summer months with it but next year I'll probably find another to put on my car. My car is a 2020 Lexus RX350

Had these installed on our 2014 VW Passat TDI and got to test them on the highway in a torrential downpour for many miles. VERY impressed. No hydroplaning whatsoever and they felt very surefooted. Was concerned that the tread pattern might be a little noisy in the cabin of the car but not the case at all. At this point, I would buy Michelin Crossclimate 2s again. Will see how they stand up durability wise as the miles/kms increase.
