I has one tire replaced due to dry rot and then a couple weeks after that the rest of the set (3) I was so happy how my car drove I bought the Lincoln town car used and these new tires made the car drive so much better like driving on butter I had another Lincoln and it drove the same with Michelin tires the defender 2 are great tires

I would not drive my car without Michelin Tires (and I have two Cars) since I purchased the car new in 2006. I have all ways purchased the best tire they make for my cars and have had nothing but the best ride and performance I could get from tires. Never had a tire that was defective and I have outstanding mileage performance from the Michelin Brand.

Despite having nearly 50k miles on my truck, after my new Michelin Defender2 tires were installed, it felt like I was driving a new vehicle. I was so pleasantly surprised I had to let someone know so I texted (using CarPlay of course) my wife and a friend.

I replaced Goodyear tires on my wife’s Acura TLX with a set of Michelin Defender2’s. I also replaced the OE Firestone tires on my mother in law’s Jeep Compass with the Michelin Defender2 tires. My wife and Mother in law immediately told me that their vehicles ride way better, handles better, and it is more quiet in their vehicles. As for the design, I love the way Michele tires look on almost all vehicles. All I can say about the construction and materials is that the tires appear to be made well. I am 53 years old and have never had a Michelin tire let me down. So I trust Michelin enough to use their tires on my family’s vehicles. Great tires that grip better than any All Season I’ve ever owned. Wet (rain) or dry pavement, these tires hug the road like the best of them. I’d give them 5 stars, except I find them to be a little louder past 70km/h than I’d like… they have a slight buzz depending on the speed at which you’re rolling which gets higher pitched and louder the faster you go. I stalled on a 2021 Mazda CX-5.

Nice at first, but every time I rotate they handle poorly. They seem to overinflate after driving on the highway and are atrocious, worse after about 30000 miles. I would throw these on a minivan, not an Avalon. If you don't care about ride quality or handling these are your tires.

My first set of these tires came with the car when I bought it new. I put 55,000 miles on them before I replaced them. Back in the day, I would have driven until I had a flat, but no more. I could have put another 5 K on them, but safety first. Also the traction was a little off.

Factory tires had worn and was time to replace. Did lots of research before buying and these seemed to fit my needs (Quit, smooth ride with a good tread life.) The Defender 2 has not disappointed. Minimal, if any road noise, smooth ride and excellent grip in rain and snow. You get what you pay for and in this case, these were a bit more than others, but well worth the money spent.

When I drove away from the shop that installed my new Michelins, I was impressed by how quiet my car became. Handling was smooth and easy compared to my old tires. They look great on my car and I'm looking forward to years of comfortable driving on them !!!!

I love my tires. I was distressed because we had a flat tire in the high-speed lane. We were concerned about replacing it. We were blessed to find a great company that replaced all four. We got a front-end alignment. I feel like I'm driving atop of the line Cadillac. My Highlander has always been a great ride, but the tires have made it a dream, and they look great. Bravo
