I just bought this generator to replace a generator of another brand that was only 6 months old that developed a fuel leak. The reason that I purchased it is because it has high ratings and I need a generator that I can depend on because our power company PGE has made it routine to shut the power off when the wind blows. Its seems to be of better quality, easy start and quieter.

Needed a back-up Gen set for a 3200 Sq/ft home in Texas (Hurricane alley) Received a couple of days ago and hooked up to the house to test. Ran the entire house including A/C, hot water, stove etc until I shut it off after 10 hours. Even ran the pool pump! Very happy with the purchase!

I did a huge amount of research, and found that for the price, and features you can't beat it. So, just received this new machine today 10/14/21. The delivery was right on-time, and packaged very well. Unpacked it, assembled it, which was a breeze, and it looks great. Have not fired it up yet, and will update later with that experience. So far things look great! Can't wait to get it into it's new home, and throw some load on this blue beast. Running 2 30am circuits into the house's transfer switches. Converted the 50a to a 30a cable for the second circuit. Going to power a 2500 sqft home with 2 living arrangements, so 2 of everything... Won't do everything, I'm sure, but I took the time to balance out the power consumption critical to to the house if we loose power in our cold climate.

Website didn't give option for Wgen9500. This is my review for that item: Nice Genny, heavy, strong and of high quality. Started right up out of the box after little assembly. Had to put on the wheels, connect the negative battery cable quick connect, hook up the propane reg and add oil. Remote was paired already and it started up first time. Smelled like curing welds/paint for a while after startup. Interesting that the manual didn't mention adding oil for the first startup. It did include the oil, funnel and had a tag on the engine to do so but you would think the manual would also mention something so important. Also the assembly section in the manual mentions hooking up both terminals to the battery. This is not the case. Both terminals are already connected, you only need to connect the quick connects on the negative line. Anyway, no sweat for anyone that has half a brain. Back-jacked it through a 50 amp breaker into my sub panel and closed the main. Ran the whole house on propane, no problem. Did not test the AC yet. Will update when I have it. Great product so far, 5 stars for sure.

I love this open frame portable generator with incredible power. I use it as back up power for my entire house. During power outages in summer months while the air-conditioning is in the most frequent use, my electric bill energy usage shows. 3500Watts but my old 8000Watt generator is not powerful enough to run the A/C and it trips every now and again when a certain combination of loads is running. That is why I now have this WGen20000c super powerful generator. I love it and it meets all my needs.

Purchased the Westinghouse 12000 generator for our home. Due to a number of power outages in the last few years, we decided to invest in a product that we could power our house with. The ease of moving the generator into place when we need it or loaning it to our family members if they would lose power, also starting it with a push of a button. Operating it with ease due to the operating manual that comes with it. Would and will recommend this to anyone.

I was looking for a gasoline powered generator that had enough power to run my whole house as I do not have access to natural gas where I live.I was pleased to find out that the initial setup was a breeze and when it started on the first try I was very pleased, for a huge generator I was quite pleased that it was actually quieter than the General I had at my previous residence.
