Love the Goodyear Assurance Maxlife - so far

We replaced the tires on my wife's 2018 Hinda Pilot EX with these after a lot of online research. My main goals were traction under all conditions, ride comfort, and long wear. So far the tires have performed well under dry and wet conditions, but haven't seen snow yet. Tread wear will of course not be known for much more than the 1,000 miles or so we have on them now. But my wife has remarked on the quietness of the tires, the handling, the comfortable ride, and the confident feeling she has under wet or dry conditions. I hope for at least 60k miles of useful tread life, though the Bridgestones that came new with the vehicle lasted about 20k miles taking into account the 10k or so driven with winter tires. And that was with tire rotation at every oil change.

Terrible on fuel economy

These are the first set of new tires that I purchased for my 2014 Ford Fusion as I was originally using the stock tires that were on the car when I purchased it new. I used to get 36 - 37 MPG combined on my old tires, that has dropped dramatically to now 32 MPG with no change in driving habits or activity; change was observed immediately after the new tires were installed. On my daily commute, when just COASATING down certain hills, I used to have to tap the BRAKE in order to maintain a constant speed, now, on the same hills, I have to tap the GAS in order to maintain my speed; acceleration also feels very sluggish. I bought these tires since they were on sale, however, I will easily be paying more in the long run just on the cost of extra gas that I will need. Definitely spend more money and buy the make/model of tires that originally came with the fusion. Tires have performed as expected in various road conditions for being brand new tires. I've had these tires on for 6 months so cannot speak to their longevity.

Fails

My 2022 Taos came with 215/50R18 tires yes the have very low road noises but fail in the smallest of highway pot holes. Less than 7K miles drive have had two form bubbles in side wall after a pot hole. This tire is only good for good slow city driving.

Road Trip

Soon after purchasing tires, I went on a road trip putting over 5000 miles on them. Periodic checks resulted in no noticeable wear on all tires. These tires provided a smooth easy ride and excellent handling of vehicle. I recommend Goodyear tires for all vehicles.

Perfect Commuter Tire

I put 85,000 miles on these tires and just replaced them with a new set of 4 today. Had I not ran over and punctured one of my tires, I could have easily gotten another 5k miles out of them! I drive about 35,000 miles a year, mixture off surface streets and highways. I am in the south; I spent time between TN and GA so these work in all weather types. I have not tested them on deep snow or ice but they are thick and sturdy. I will not buy any other tire! Definitely worth the price for a tire that truly lasts as long as promised!

Mixed thoughts

These were purchased to obtain maximum tread life. I have a mixed bag of roads that I travel including highway and backcountry roads. Noticed a drop in gas mileage immediately of 2-3 mpg. They handle well. I have not driven in snow yet but wet roads are no problem. The ride seems harder which I expected.

Great tires

These tires have served as well over 86, 000mi. When we bought our 2012 Honda Odyssey, new, in that same year, we were impressed by the quiet ride, great traction on dry, wet, snowy conditions. Now at the end of their wear / tread life, we are buying a new set.

Okay Tire

Now have 40,200 Miles on Tire. They have a lot of noise when driving. Faster you drive the more noise you notice. Will put up with as long as I can because tires are not wore out yet. Have rotated tires a number of times and gotten vehicle aligned several times. Not sure what tire I will replace them with.

Good tire, very noisy

These tires are reliable. The treadwear is durable and perform well in the rain. I love in Michigan so on light snow days they're fine . Heavier snowfalls need winter tires. The only drawback is these tired are VERY loud on the highway and even speeds of 45mph so there's that. However this is my second set so there's something to be said about the quality of these tires!

Another Great ReplayTire

Once again, I have purchased Goodyear Tires to replace my factory installed competitors. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of my new Goodyears. I just wish that Goodyear products were available when I originally purchased the vehicle.
