These were horrible, I ended up throwing away. They had a strange chemical taste to them. Disappointed!

They are still sitting in my frig. They taste very bitter and not ripe. Wish i could bring them back.

Catania figs

Good product fresh

I love fresh figs! They’re delicious! Used to eat them right off my grandparents fig tree in Mississippi. They require warmer climates to grow successfully. I used to drive long distances to get them. So thankful y'all have fresh figs!

I frequently purchase these. The ones from California are sweet and ripe. I highly recommend them. There are many ways they can be prepared. However when they are this good my preference is to simply eat them as they are.

I don't remember how many times I have bought figs and one time some figs came out moldy, I kept buying but the next times it was worse almost all of them came out moldy and my husband didn't let me return them only once I was able to return them. I kept buying them because I like them a lot and with the hope that next time they would come out good but it wasn't like that.

The packaging was different than the picture I see generated above, as mine were individually separated and protected from bruising but it seemed to be making them moldy very quickly, even in the store's cooler. I had to sort through several in order to find a pack free of visible mold. That day I ate 2 raw (a bit flavorless) and 3 broiled with cheese on top (good but not great b/c the cheese wasn't salty enough) and the figs didn't sweeten up as much as I hoped. But the next day I shopped for some feta use on the remainder but couldn't cook them that night due to circumstances, though I had to take time to cull some (b/c of molding). By breakfast time I didn't even get to use the feta, as the remaining four had completely gone to mold.

The figs looked like they were ripe. They did not taste sweet. I left them on the counter for two days. Even though they came out of a refrigerated area, leaving them on the counter should not have caused them to mold. It was like I was getting ready to start my own Pharmacy. It shouldn’t have done it. I looked at them again, just a few days ago in the store, picked them up. They still felt hard, so I put them back down and just said learned once. And then the price was expensive for only 18 figs. I understand not everybody has a fig tree. But that’s a little bit ridiculous.
