They are put together well and sturdy. They also come in a multitude of colors. The eraser works well. The lead is refillable. All in all you can't go wrong with these pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They aren't kidding when they say extra strong. It took a lot of effort to break the lead. I tried. If you keep it short, it's not likely to happen at all. Even when it's long, it's hard. Outside of that, it writes smoothly. No squeaking! The eraser is good too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using mechanical pencils at work for a number of years. I always had an issue with the leads breaking. I love that the BIC Xtra Strong mechanical pencils offer a thicker lead to cut down on them breaking while you're writing. I also like the bright colors that they come in. They write smooth and are holding up pretty well. I would definitely get more or these BIC Xtra Strong pencils.

i purchased this pack of pencils yesterday and i like writting bold and thick so i decided to get 0.9. well my first attempt of using it; i push the lead out, put it down on my paper, it goes back in [all 24 did the same] -_____________- I'm very disappointed with this pencil & do NOT recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were so excited to try out these Xtra Strong Mechanical Pencils from BIC. The came in multiple bright, assorted colors. My kids love mechanical pencils but hate that the lead is always so flimsy. These are perfect for younger kids who are just learning how to use this type of pencil. Besides the lead, the pencil casing itself is study and good quality as well. And the erasers don't smear the pencil like some lesser expensive versions tend to do. All around a great mechanical pencil to have in your bag!!

Perfect for back to school book bags. My son loves mechanical pencils as a pencil sharpener isnt always available. Mechanical pencils are always convenient snd easy to use. Eraser included as well. BIC always puts out great products for school.

Thet are durable and hold up to the abuse that a young child gives to them. I have them in our homework bucket to be readily available for them to use each day and i have 2 with me at work that i love!
