[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received these mechanical pencils about a month ago. Very impressed with the "extra strong" lead. I am an avid crossword puzzle solver and these hold up really well. Do not tear paper and stand up to the pressure I apply on them without breaking easily. Eraser works great without smudging. Feeling in hand was very comfortable. Will definatly purchase in the future.

I gave Her these Pencils and So Far She hasnt Broke one yet and She Loves the Fun Colors. They are very Strong and Durable and I will be buying more of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these mechanical pencils for my kids.I purchased BIC because I love everything BIC makes, and they are a good value. Value is important because the kids go through a lot of them during the school year. These Mechanical pencils come with a very good eraser. The lead is like writing with a number #2 pencil and the eraser doesn't smudge nor destroy your paper. The kids find them comfortable. The mechanical pencil comes with 3 lead segments per pencil . The lead is strong and doesn’t break easy. I highly recommend these mechanical pencils because they come in pretty colors and they write really well. Great product!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to use these Bic mechanical pencils. She said some kids in her class had these and she was excited to try these out. They write nicely and not much pressure is needed for the lead to show up on paper. They also retract easily and they come in a variety of cool colors. The lead is pretty thick and my daughter or myself didn’t have any problems with the lead breaking. They erase nicely with barely any trace of the writing on paper. The only thing I couldn’t figure out with these mechanical pencils is if they’re refillable? I didn’t see anything on the packaging to indicate they are and I didn’t want to break the pencil by trying. I’d purchase these again and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Bic Xtra-Strong mechanical pencils for the first time and am very impressed. I an a bookkeeper and always use mechanical pencils. These by far are the best I’ve tried. The break resistant lead is very strong. I actually used up the lead before it broke. I also like the way the lead erases. It doesn’t smudge and erases easily. I will definitely be buy the Bic mechanical pencils again.

I am one of those people that are prone to use too much force while writing and the leads on usual mechanical pencils keep breaking on me. These leads are amazing! I haven't had a single one break on me so far. I like using pencils to write because I write more clearly and it is easier to erase your errors than white them out. I would highly recommend these xtra strong mechanical pencils to anyone who likes writing, especially if you have problems with normal leads breaking on you!

My son is very rough with his writing utensils & he's very pleased that they don't break easily. He could definitely tell a huge difference in lead strength from his original mechanical pencil to this extra strong one. We will definitely be purchasing these for school supplies from now on.
