[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the BIC Mechanical Xtra Strong Pencils and we just love them! The lead never breaks and seem to last a long time. My husband really likes them for work since he doesn't have to sharpen them at the job sites (he works in construction). My son likes them at school since the classrooms no linger have sharpeners. The only con is the eraser. It doesn't work that good but I just buy a pack of big eraser heads to cover. I highly recommend them though and will buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This are pretty strong mechanical pens. They accept a lot of force but they could not with stand the force of my toddler. All in all my little was only able to break the pencil led once so they are really strong. They also come in a nice color palette.

My son is very rough with his writing utensils & he's very pleased that they don't break easily. He could definitely tell a huge difference in lead strength from his original mechanical pencil to this extra strong one. We will definitely be purchasing these for school supplies from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using mechanical pencils at work for a number of years. I always had an issue with the leads breaking. I love that the BIC Xtra Strong mechanical pencils offer a thicker lead to cut down on them breaking while you're writing. I also like the bright colors that they come in. They write smooth and are holding up pretty well. I would definitely get more or these BIC Xtra Strong pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These really are tuff, I always break a plastic pencil but i havent had that problem, i like all the colors that come in the package, easy to find refills and overall great writing utensil, i believe we could get more items for the amount we pay for it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the unique color choices & combinations. The lead is 0.9, which is really sturdy & does not break easily. You can store quite a few pieces of lead inside, too. The outer material is not flimsy, like some mechanical pencils. I like the erasers that are on these as well. Erases easily & a good amount on each pencil. Some don't have much of an eraser at all. Overall, this is one of my favorite, mechanical pencils. They aren't super fancy, to heavy or to light. They are your basic (but colorful & fun) & standard MP but reliable, very durable, & gets the job done in every aspect (writing, erasing, weight/size, strong quality.) My family likes using them for school & work as well. I highly recommend the BIC Xtra Strong mechanical pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Bic extra strong mechnical pencils. They work really well. It is easy to press the eraser to get more lead to come out. The lead is very strong and very hard to break. In order to break the lead, I had to have a long length of lead sticking out of the bottom of the pencil. The lead won't break if using a normal amount of lead for writing. The pencils are very colorful and I think people of all ages would enjoy using them. I like that there are multiple colors on each pencil! Great product.

I love the way it is very smooth on my paper and the eraser erases everything without leaving what you wrote to see. I love you a lot and I definitely would recommend it.

I really like BIC mechanical pencils and they last for a long time. The lead is strong, comfortable in hand and lead doesn't break as easy as it did before. I would definitely recommend BIC Xtra Strong Mechanical Pencil to anyone looking for good mechanical pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Math teacher, I have strong opinions about pencils and erasers. This mechanical pencil delivers!! It writes dark, but is easily erasable. The lead is strong and doesn’t easily break. The only down side is that the average mechanical pencil uses .7 lead whereas this pencil uses .9 lead. Be mindful when purchasing replacement lead. That is the only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5. Best mechanical pencil I’ve ever used!
