Perfect for those with a heavier hand. I snap the lead on the 0.5 and 0.7 sizes, but the 0.9 is perfect!

These are the only kind of mechanical pencils that I buy because they always perform well and the lead doesn't break.

The lead is stronger with the thick point.  I also don't have to press as hard to get it legible to read.

Stronger and more readable

Love always having a sharp pencil! These are strong enough that they aren’t constantly breaking like other mechanical pencils!

Great delivery and awesome pencils. My daughter loves them and she loves being able to pick different colors.

The pencils were great to use. I use them on schoolwork and I got my paper done because of my handwriting and I do not have to redo it.

These thicker point lead is better then the others. They break less and last longer. My high school son only likes this type and brand.

Mechanical pencils

The lead is stronger BUT it smears. It is not as sharp as the thinner lead. Also works very POORLY with notecards/flashcards. On top of smearing, the eraser is terrible! It will not erase on notecards/index cards or any type of thicker paper - only makes the writing lighter. It does well on thin lined paper or worksheets. It would work for younger kids who don’t study using flashcards. I’ll stick to the originals because these aren’t worth the money.

I love to buy these BIC Xtra Strong Mechanical Pencils for my students.  Many students come to school without a pencil, so I give these out to them.  I typically pick up a pack whenever I am grocery shopping.  I particularly like these because the lead is stronger.  I teach special education and some of my students press down too hard on the paper.  Other mechanical pencil leads break, but not these.
