My kids love these pencils--perfect for drawing or math homework. The 24 pack got us through the first half of the year.

These pencils are so thin that they break really easy. I'm not talking about the lead. I mean the plastic itself is too thin and easily cracked. I won't be buying this box again.

BIC mechanical pencils have become one of my favorite brands. I buy them for my kids for school, and they hold up really well. They’re strong, durable, and the eraser is really good and sturdy. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and my kids love using them. If you want a reliable mechanical pencil, I definitely recommend this brand.

The lead is stronger BUT it smears. It is not as sharp as the thinner lead. Also works very POORLY with notecards/flashcards. On top of smearing, the eraser is terrible! It will not erase on notecards/index cards or any type of thicker paper - only makes the writing lighter. It does well on thin lined paper or worksheets. It would work for younger kids who don’t study using flashcards. I’ll stick to the originals because these aren’t worth the money.

Been purchasing every year for school pencils. Only neg. is the clip breaks off easy, but doesn't hurt the function of it. They last a long time as well. Lead doesn't break easy like other thinner lead pencils. Better that even wood pencils. Lead just as strong but they don't need to get up to sharpen. Love these
