I always put them in the washer while the water is running in & then the clothes and they dissolve easy without any residue. If you want your clothes smelling fresh go out and purchase The Downy UnStopables.

And I noticed that the beads did not really dissolve very well in the water in the washing machine. I am satisfied with my current laundry soap and liquid fabric softener so I have no need to buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the downy brand. Downy unstoppables fragrance is so nice. Throw the beads in with your wash before you add your clothes and let it wash. The clothes are fresh for days. I love using these beads and will continue to use.

I started using Unstoppables and soon after I started getting itchy. I tried taking antihistamines but still the itching continued. Tried cortisone cream then another topical. Finally I made the connection and stopped using them and rewashed my clothes, sheets, and towels. The itching stopped. I was pretty miserable for about 3 months before I figured out what was causing the constant itching.

I tend to switch scents very other purchase and haven't found a bad scent yet. Our clothes hold the scent for weeks! Even clothes that are packed away tightly for winter will still smell when pulled back out. Love these things!
