This used to be my favorite cereal but sometime in the 2010’s I started noticing flakes with extremely hard bits of what I can only assume are pieces of rice. I stopped buying it and finally picked up another box after almost a decade assuming the problem must have been addressed by now. Nope! Still full of gravel hard bits. A real shame. It used to be a great cereal but quality control has clearly gone down hill.

I have tried other cereals, but this one is simply perfect. Only a few ingredients, the crunch holds up in milk and it is a perfect way to start each day.

This is my favorite cereal, but I don’t think I can purchase it anymore. There are extremely hard pieces in the cereal!! Feels like they’re going to break my teeth!! Don’t know what they are or why they’re in the cereal, but they shouldn’t be there. That’s for sure. You guys need to do more quality control & make sure those extremely hard pieces aren’t in the cereal.

I will forever hype it up to every one i meet. I literally was referring it to my entire college class this morning! It will forever be my favorite and I will never stop purchasing!! Every time I visit my grandparents in St. Louis, they always buy me a box of Original Special K because they know that’s the only thing from the store I’ll want.

Loved the product Have eaten this for breakfast and late night snack I’ve bought this product most of my life!!! I’ve given 1 star, because the cereal in the last 6 boxes I have obtained has stale cereal!!! The rice cereal is hard!! I see that the hard pieces problem has been going on for quite some time. I have 3 boxes of original that cannot eat because all of them have those teeth breaking hard pieces. It is time to fix this!!! Recall your batches and go back to the trusted production or recipe.

Absolutely terrible and will never repurchase due to the “hard chunks” literally everyone is complaining about! So disappointing, haven’t had this in years and decided to try it for an easy stomach friendly breakfast to take meds with after surgery. I was shocked when I started chewing and thought I broke a tooth. Every single bite has what feels like rocks, it’s almost impossible to chew. I went to look at reviews and am amazed at the amount of people who have also experienced this. This needs to be taken off the market, absurd that it hasn’t been pulled yet. Buyer beware!

I love them with blueberries! The flavor combination ais awesome!

Only place I can find this at an affordable price. Great buy!
