We bought these tires in September for our 2013 Hyundai sonata. I initially settled on this tire cause it was 3PMSF rated. I'm glad I did! These tires have taken us down every dirt trail without a problem. Drove through downpours without even hinting at having a problem and has taken on every inch of Idaho snow like it wasn't there. These tires have performed so well in the snow and the winter weather that I'll gladly buy them again in a heartbeat. Yes, there was about a 1-2 mpg loss but for the safety and comfort this tires gives, I have no issue with that.

I bought these tires to replace the aging factory ones on my Camry about four or five years ago. They lasted a good 75,000 miles and still had life left in them when I replaced them. In terms of performance, they did exceptionally well in the rain, even in a torrential downpour. They were very quiet up until the last year or so, but that's to be expected as the rubber hardens and the tread wears away. If you're looking for a tire that will last, look no further.

Research, reviews and tests were mixed on the cross climate 2 but I bought them anyway. They are not the worst tires I have ever had but not anything like the Yokahama Parada Spec X I took off either. They are good in rain, haven’t driven in snow yet but they are rated high for snow but my issues with this tire is on dry tar. No changes to vehicle except new tires. The car wants to wonder now. It is difficult to keep it going straight at any speed. The car feels squishy on dry tar now. Doesn’t feel stable anymore. I don’t track my mileage but the car seems to drag now so I suspect the mileage decrease complaints are probably correct. The tires do make noise at times. Mainly on dry tar with the windows open and you are stepping on the gas. You must over inflate these tires to increase the stability. I run 40 psi in front for better steering but it helps only slightly and that may wear them out prematurely. The bottom line is that there are a lot of choices in tires no need to put up with the negatives of these tires.

This is my second set. I first purchased these for my Subaru Outback, the were perfect for both rain and snow, not to mention dry weather conditions. I was so happy with these that when I purchased my 2023 Forester, I replaced the dealer’s tires with a new set of the Crossclimate2, they feel lighter and I will expect to get almost 60K mile on these as well.

I replaced my Michelin Primacys to give these a try. I live in upstate New York where we get harsh winters. So far I am satisfied, I feel more confident on the road, however a little more road noise and slight steering wheel feel which is expected with such an aggressive thread. I believe these tires are second to none when it comes to an all season tire with the snow factor included.

Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, which isn’t a whisper quite car, and the tread noise tends to blend in with the normal Mazda sound in a way that does not make it annoying. However if quiet running is a key priority for you, there are probably other tires that will better meet your needs.

Bought these last fall for my 2017 XT5. The tires perform well in all conditions, very quiet under all highway conditions, concrete and asphalt. Looking for a second set for another of my cars. I rotate every 10k miles, the first rotation highlighted no noticeable wear pattern. Way to go Michelin…….

People seem to be getting confused about a couple points: 1. Wandering / Poor tracking: this tends to happen with untrained staff mounting all four tires on the wheels one direction, which makes directional tread patterns like these backwards on one side of the car, which results in poor tracking and wandering. I have had tire shops do this, and it feels exactly how some "disappointed" reviewers are describing their performance. 2. Poor MPG: Michelin has replied here to a bunch of people that fresh tire compounds result in lower mpg at first. That's not untrue necessarily, but so far people have ignored that new tires are physically larger than worn tires, even at the same nominal size. The worn tires are giving artificially high MPG figures (they aren't going as far as the odometer says), and the new ones are often giving artificially low figures (going farther than the odometer says, since they are often set for an average tire age), so jumping from worn to new makes it falsely appear that there is a significant MPG difference. So, don't get it twisted! These are great tires, especially in wet environments. Even at double the price of standard "used car grade" tires, I bought two more sets of these, so every car would be as safe and comfortable. I only wish they came in a light truck load rating so I could feel better taking them on forest roads.

I can’t count how many sets of Michelin tire I have purchased. Bought these for a Ford Transit Connect Titanium wagon. Spent numerous hours sound proofing it. Van is light and has basic suspension. Therefore asked for the best tire, irrespective of price, that would provide a smooth and quite ride, while providing good winter traction. The ride in now rough/stiff. Despite all the sound proofing, the road/tire noise is very pronounced, especially though the front struts. There is now a vibration that comes through the steering wheel, particularly at slower speeds, and to add insult to injury, the gas mileage is off a solid 10%. They do provide good winter traction, but so do the Michelin tires I put on my daughters car this summer, without all the downsides.

These tires get me through the dry and the wet, around bends and cloverleafs, in a confident and fun manner. Feedback and handling are good, and the tires are reasonably quiet. I also like the aggressive look of the tread. I haven't tested them in snow and ice yet, but am looking forward to it. I usually swap in winter tires, but hopefully, the CrossClimate2s will save me the trouble.
