My experiment with the Goodyear brand is a brief one.

I'm really quite dumfounded by how quickly these tires are wearing down since the they were installed in early February, 2024. My vehicle is a 2006 Toyota Sienna and it has front wheel drive. I had the good year tire store install them just after my independent mechanic replaced the rear springs and performed a four wheel alignment. I have used other tire brands that have lasted much longer. I'm not going to name those other tire brands in this review but, I most likely will return to the tire brands I have used in the past. Goodyear is a big national brand but, it's not a good brand.

These are decent Tires but not special

10/17/2023 Purchased these one year ago for my 2020 Hyundia Santa Fe a vehicle that weighs about 3,500 pounds. I have rotated the tires per the manufactures recommendations and kept them inflated per the label on the car at 35lbs. I have found the following. at 17,000 miles of use the tires are showing a even tread depth of 7/32 remaining of the original tread depth of 9/32. Assuming you need 2/32 tread depth to be a useable tire the amount of tread that has been consumed is 28%. Therefore, the tires now have an expected life of 60,400 miles or so the tires will not meet the expectations (warranty) of 65,000 miles. With this said I would say the following about the tires. They are quiet which is important to me. The dry road traction is good, Wet Road traction is not special in any way. Snow traction has not been tested as I am retired and follow the sun. Gravel dirt road traction is just ok with tire spin noticed often in dirt gravel roads when taking off from a complete stop with light gas pedal pressure (these tires are meant for paved roads). Bottom line, I would probably buy these tires again if they make 60,000 miles but they are not outstanding but decent tires. My driving is a combination of city, highway most of the time with speeds not exceeding 65MPH.

Goodyear Assurance All Season Review

I selected this tire for its wet traction capablities. Looking at other tires I felt this tire was going to give me the best overall value. So far I have not been disappointed. I have not driven in snow with these tires yet, so I can't say how good they will be in the snow. I expect them to be at least average in the snow.

Loud bumpy ride

Terrible experience at service center. Old tires had no problem...smooth ride and quiet. Only changed due to tread life remaining. New tires are loud, bumpy and wobble. I had them rebalanced 3 times and each technician did worse than the other. Only when I sat and watched did they do the job correctly yet it still didn't resolve the bumpy ride. Service center wanted to blame everything under the sun except the tires which was the only change made - one day with old tires, all is fine yet next day with new tires loud bumpy ride. No service center has a road balance machine and I'm tired of wasting my time with the incompetent service technicians.

Great Value

Purchased/installed these 9 months ago on a 10-yr minivan (120K miles, 3d replacement set). So far put just 4500 miles. Very good road handling/grip, even in snow (in Colorado) this past winter. Not very noisy on highway. Overall, impressed and pleased compared with major other name brand and store brand all-seasons I've run on the van. If I get 40K miles on these I'll be very happy (rated 65K) given experience with other sets that were rated at 50K plus but only lasted 40.

Excellent Tire for SUV

Excellent Tire for my Chevrolet Equinox SUV Bought these Goodyear Tires and replaced the Michelin Tires originally came with vehicle when I bought it. These Goodyear tires are definitely a HUGE Difference from the Michelin tires. Getting better fuel mileage and more money with these New Tires and better Wear & Tear as well. .

Great all-purpose tire

Got these tires because of the great price point and very good reviews. Very little road noise, handles road bumps/holes nicely, and works well in sunny or wet conditions. I have not driven them in snow yet, but drove through standing water with no hydroplaning and on very wet roads without any sliding or loss of traction. Great grip on the road during sunny weather as well. Took these on a road trip shortly after getting them and I got excellent gas mileage, so these seem to be at that sweet spot of nice price, great performance, yet less road drag for improved mileage. I highly recommend these tires.

Excellent Tires

I have had 3 sets of these tires on 2 different vehicles, 4 door sedan and a crossover, both Ford products. Ride is very nice, snow/wet traction is good overall. These tires have held up very well. The life of 65,000 was true for 2 of 3 sets so far. The 2 sets that went 70,000 before needing replaced were on my daily driver for work. 80 miles round trip Monday thru Friday. Recently purchased another Ford product and the horrible continent@l tires will be replaced with these as soon as they wear out, which shouldn't be long.

Great well rounded tires

These tires are excellent. They provide very good control in dry conditions and a very smooth ride. So smooth that it feels like I got a brand-new car in fact. Turns are responsive and braking is respectable. Performance in rain is variable depending on the temperature outside but you should have no issue maintaining control with these tires. Snow performance however is the largest weakness for this set of tires but its to be expected for a tire that attempts to be a jack of all trades. It may get you by if you have a very light snow fall but you will struggle if snow is say 4 inches plus or if there is ice. Overall though it is a well-balanced tire that will keep you safe in most reasonable conditions and I would highly recommend to anyone

Good except booming noise at 40-45 mph

I recently had a new set of four tires installed on my 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L (tire size 235/65R17). They are good except for one major issue: they make a "booooooom"ing noise, most pronounced at 40-45mph. My previous set from Goodyear 8 years ago, Goodyear Assurance® ComforTred® Touring, did not have this issue.
