Quiet, Good Control and Long-life

Michelin tires are in my opinion and my usage over the past 10+ years (used for my sedan & SUV) the most value-for-your-money tires. Giving you a smooth rider, longer tread life and good control in nearly any environmental conditions you could encounter. The reliability gives you the peace of mind you need from a tire company you can trust.

Great tires for any price!

This is my second set of these tires from Michelin. Although not the least expensive tire in its class range it is well worth the extra money. Handling, wet and dry, are improved with this tire over the OEM models that were installed on my VW Passat and Honda Accord. Road noise is also greatly improved on both vehicles. I have driven over 45000 miles on one set and was more than willing to install a set on my next car when they were needed. The second set has just over 4000 miles and are doing great. I will definitely buy another set when the time comes.

Very smooth ride.

I have bought Michelin tires for years and have always been pleased with the performance, safety, and durability. The only question I had when purchasing new tires was which series Michelin I would buy. I selected the Primacy MXM4 for best luxury car ride with top mileage. I have now driven the tires for 5,000+ miles and have in fact received a very smooth ride and good mileage (29 mpg highway, on a 2004 Cadillac Deville with 110,000 miles). I assume the wear life also be excellent based on my past Michelin history.

Balance problems after setting a few days

I have Michelin Primacy MXM4 245/ 40R/ 19 tires on My Lincoln MKZ. Tires are great except after car sets for a few days the tires seem out of balance for the first 5 or 6 miles. After that they are great. It has always done that. These are OE tires and now have 9500 miles on them

Should be OE on '13 Escape!

I bought a '13 Escape Titanium at Christmas, and by the end of Feb I had 3 of the OE tires replaced for different reasons. I got tired of blowing money on them so I found the closest size Michelin made in the Primacy MXM4. I absolutely love them! They ride noticeably smoother, handle better, and look better! Keep in mind this is on a brand new car with less than 5k miles on it, and I could still tell a major difference. They should come OE on the Escape Titanium! Time will tell how long they last as I've put about 1k miles on them.

I have had Michelin tires ...

I have had Michelin tires on my cars for the past 39 years. My first set was on a 1971 VW Square Back. These were some of the first radials to be sold in the US. Ive had Michelins on my cars every since. Its a brand that has never had quality issues and is a name you can trust. Its my tire of choice.

Poor handling

These tires came on my 2020 Acura RLX hybrid. I honestly thought there was a defect in the design of the car how could Acura put these in there most expensive sedan with almost 400 hp I drove the for 10000 miles and decided to replace them and see if the handling emproved.. o my god did it ever if you purchase a new car with these tires on it do your self a favor at purchase time of the car allow 1200 to replace them. This is the worst handling tire I have ever owned it was almost like a big old fat marshmallow when you turn into a curve the car had to wait on the tires to catch up I can’t believe they built a tire as crappy as these. I have there pilot sport on other cars I own and they preform very well but this is a discussing joke and waste of money I replace them with Goodyear eagle exhilarate and wow what an improvement I honestly can’t understand why anyone would want these tires It going going to take me a long time to consider this company again for any of my tire needs after this.

Great Tire

I love my Michelin tires on my 2010 VW Jetta TDI. They're quiet, have great grip and are also great in the rain. I've only put 7,000 miles on them so far and I love them. I'm curious to find out how they handle in the snow. As of right now, I would not buy any other tire.

3rd set on the same car

We bought our 2014 Acura RDX new and it came with these tires. They have been a perfect tire for us in all types of weather - we live in moderate snow country. We replaced the original tires with this same model and size and are now ready, at 81K, to replace them again. After doing some more research on current "models" of tires, we will, once again, replace them with the Primacy tires since we are very happy with the mileage, performance and quietness of the tire brand.

Michelins YES - run flats NO

My wife's 2009 Jetta Sportwagen TDI needed new tires at 50,000 miles so I purchased a set of P225/45R-17 Michelin Primacy MXM4 ZP Run Flats. I have a pretty well equipped shop and the first thing I noticed was that my tire changer would not handle the stiff sidewalls of the run flats. No great problem and I had expected that I might have difficulty mounting them. After running the tires for about 1000 miles I can say that the ride is very smooth, smoother than I had expected with the stiffer sidewalls. My only complaint is that the mileage has decreased from 44 mpg to around 41 mpg. I have been a Michelin user since the early 60's and this is the first disappointment I have had with any Michelin tires. I will buy Michelins again, but not run flats.
