Michelin Defender 2

In November 2023 I bought 4 Michelin Defender 2 tires for my 2019 Toyota Highlander and they are GREAT!!! :) I'm extremely happy with these tires. The ride is smooth and quiet. The handling is GREAT!!! While driving it feel as though I'm gliding on the road. It was a very good purchase.

Not up to my Expectation

I installed these tires on Mazda CX 9 2021, less than a month ago, after reading positive reviews about these tires. Disappointed, brand new tires, thumping noise at 100km/hr plus speed .Tire shop recheked it, balance it again, its better, but not the same smoothness as OEM tires Falken Ziex Ct 50. ires, balanced it again. I won't buy or recommend. Wish, could replace it with continental extreme contact.

Using Only Michelins

I have used Michelin's on all my vehicles for many years. When I bought my 2014 Durango, it came with another brand. After 20,000 miles or so they were wearing. Michelins have been on it ever since and I not have almost 50,000 on them and not near wear points yet. Great traction in wet weather, low noise, and smooth ride. What not to like.

Excellent Tires with Comfortable and Quite Ride

I recently purchased the Michelin Defender 2 tires with tire size of 235/50R17 for my Lexus ES350. My previous tires were Michelin Premier A/S, which it offers very comfortable and quite ride with excellent handling during dry and wet weather conditions. However, the issue was the Premier A/S did not last very long. I only had 25K and all 4 tires went down to 2/32. By doing a lot of research, I found out that the Defender 2 is built on the foundation of the Defender T+H, the Michelin Defender 2 scores top marks in all categories. Plus, it has the identical tread pattern design like Premier A/S which I like it very much. It provided me very comfortable and quite ride with Piano Acoustic Tuning Technology. In addition, the Defender 2 compounds contain EverTread2.0 and MaxTouch2.0 Technology, which Michelin offers 80,000 miles warranty. By knowing Defender 2 is built from Defender T+H and has the same tread design like Premier A/S, I know this is an excellent tire that would give me the most comfortable quite ride while keep me safe on the roads, plus it will last for a long time. I am very happy with the purchase and the choice I made.

Best tires on the market.

I've purchased several tires in the defender range, normally lt or ltx but these are my first defender 2's, I can't tell you how impressed I am. smooth, quiet, and my fuel mileage increased over the stock tires. I like michelens because of the full depth siping, the tiny cuts in the tread where all the traction really comes from.
