Excellent

I put this on my Christmas wish list along with a new WORX GT (old one was shot after 8 years) and the newer model of the Trivac. I got those at Christmas and on my birthday last week I the jawsaw showed up on my porch. Of course I had to try it out at first opportunity and found one on a tree that over hangs our screen room that needed it's yearly pruning. FANTASTIC is all I can say. I could reach branches I've needed to trim for years that I couldn't safely reach and the operation of the product was easy, safe and seamless. This product allows you to work safely from a ladder without the dangers of using a regular chainsaw from a perch like that. once back on the ground it was easy and safe to chop the branches into smaller pieces that could be handled for removal, or cut for the woodpile for the fire bowl. EXCELLENT product.

Jawsaw

I purchased mine a year ago. It works great except the chainsaw comes off while in use making it dangerous; and when a cut limb twist the jaws get caught up in the tree with you making it a danger. I do like the product just wish putting the blade on was easier and when caught in a tree there was a jaw release

a womans perfect tool, handy, lightweight cutter

purchased last year, was clearing fence rows that had not attended for 18? yrs, lots of young trees to be removed and pruned before dumping into the burn pit. I am 88 years young and carrying /using the 12" cordless chain was do-able but tiring. The JAWSAW allows me to do 3 times the work without all the time outs. So lightweight with the share power battery. It also helps strip the larger trees for more successful burns at the pit. Can't imagine how I survived without it. I now own several WORX power share tools and it keeps getting better.

This JawSaw Makes Clearing Tree limbs easy & safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need to make quick work of clearing limbs from tree branches, then this tool is for you. The JawSaw cut the branches like sticks of butter. It was so easy and smooth getting branches cut quickly.

Would buy another in a heartbeat.

My wife gave me a jawsaw for Christmas two years ago and I have beaten the living daylights out of it, and it still works fine. I have dismantled the brush and branches from six huge pin oaks, enough to provide nearly 2 chords of wood. I have taken down more than four dozen smaller trees and cut them up in a fraction of the time it would have taken with a regular chain saw. I didn't get nearly as dirty or have to bend over to cut most of the wood, since the jaws design picks it up and cradles it during cutting. I also purchased the pole extension, which works great for trimming branches that hang over the house and shed roofs. After all the cutting I've done, I still have never sharpened the chain, likely due to the fact that the design protects the blade from grinding into the ground during each cut. If this one ever gives out - which it gives no sign of doing - I would not hesitate to go out, immediately, and buy another.

Mighty machine!

I bought this about five weeks ago. I have used it to remove numerous branch's and small trees. It is light weight and easy to use, this little guy cut down an out of control rubber tree in no time. It is powerful and functional. I am a woman over 50 and had no difficulty using this product.

Fun to use!

This is the perfect tool for my suburban lot - which has a lot of unwanted seedling and sapling trees and brush. After I used it a few times I found I was actually enjoying the pruning work. I am very leery of chain saws, but this one seems very safe and low maintenance The only critique I have is that it is a little heavy, especially when reaching into trees. If they could take out a pound or two, it would really help in using the extension pole to get into high places.

Easy to use!

I bought this saw for my wife because it is so easy to use. We live in the country and have lots and lots of trees. I use my gas powered chainsaw to cut trees and my wife cleans up the branches with her JawSaw. She can also cut down small trees with her JawSaw. My wife and I are both in our sixties and this is by far the best saw we have ever used! I will buy another JawSaw when needed. The chain is very easy to change out but the chain lasts so long you don't have to do it that often. We are very impressed and satisfied!

I love my jaw saw!

I love my jaw saw! Finally, I can do some yard work without worrying about cutting my leg off! This thing works great! I have taken down limbs and bushes with ease and I can do it all by myself! It's easy to use! It's not too heavy. I'd almost say it helps to make yard work fun! I wish I had bought it sooner!

Wire inside broke

Sorry we bought this. The internal wiring gets caught and breaks. We have had to rewire it 4 times. When it worked it was fine but this is almost beyond repair. I bought it in Oct and unfortunately did not keep receipt otherwise I would have returned it. I would not recommend it. We heat only with wood and the idea that I would be able to help cut up the smaller stuff seemed great. However we have almost run out of wire to repair. Such a waste of money.
