YUCK!!!

This is the third time we have sought a refund on this product. Catfish is an excellent fish but should have no smell—none. This supplier is not keeping the water fresh, so the fish has a musty aroma and awful taste.

Catfish fillets

Never fishy smelling and never mud tasting as catfish can be at times. I buy it every single time we r about to run out. It’s now a staple in our home thanks to Sam’s Club providing such a great product!

Fresh & affordable

It's hard to find fresh catfish (in my area at least). This has become a favorite, we make it deep fried or blackened. Quick and easy, no lingering fish smell. We usually get 2 meals out of a package which makes it very affordable.

Taste like I caught them.

Sold my boat when I had kids.. Don't fish much any more. Wanted some Catfish so I tried these out. Pan fried them and just as good as fresh caught. I would fillet my catfish while still flopping around alive and these where that good. Will be buying them again!

Fish has a wang to it

These are supposed to be just catfish fillets, no 15% salt solution %26 free of any preservatives. There's got to be something to preserve these in the packaging making these taste awful. Maybe it's the absorbent pad or something in the thick blue film overwrap but I can't eat these. Wasted money on the fish fry batter, the fish, and the peanut oil and these all went in the trash! Very disappointing! At least I had hushpuppies and coleslaw to eat, the fillets were a complete loss.

A Staple I Always Buy When In Stock

I buy two packages of this catfish at Sam's once a month - every time I find it available in the store. Every purchase has always been well sealed and fresh each time for years now. I rinse and repackage it into two piece packages and freeze it for later thawing and cooking. It always cooks and tastes great - the same as any I have caught fresh on a hook and prepared for meals.
