I purchased these tires to replace the original tires on a new VW ID4. Though I did not have, or use the original tires more than a few hundred km, I did not notice any major difference in noise or handling with the new Crossclimate2 tires. Though I was not able to compare EV range between the original equipment tires and the Crossclimate tires, both being new, I don't think there is much if any. I find these tires to be an excellent compromise between traction and durability vs rolling resistance (ie EV range) for where we live in the BC lower Mainland.

Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, which isn’t a whisper quite car, and the tread noise tends to blend in with the normal Mazda sound in a way that does not make it annoying. However if quiet running is a key priority for you, there are probably other tires that will better meet your needs.

I bought a set of these CrossClimate 2 tires in 2022 and never have been more impressed with the handling, traction, etc. of any other tire I have bought in the 60+ years I have been driving. Note: I chose the Helium fill option if this makes any difference.

Just put a set of 4, 215/50R17/XL 95V, on last week. Driven less then a 100 mile so far. The volt had the OE on for just under 55,000 and one had a slow leak. Got the CrossClimate®2 and right from the parking lot I noticed the the tires gave the car a tighter grip on the road, bumps seamed to be less noticeable. The tires do not roll as well as the OE and a little more tire noise, like a whine. With no engine noise to cover it up, it was expected. The car handles the hills and curves very well. My wife feel more assured that car is not going off the road and will take the curves. Had to add more air and that made the Volt cost better also did not notice any change in the handling.

I recently purchased these tires for my Lexus GS350 F-Sport. I love the sporty look and they ride amazing! Nice and quiet, with great cornering grip! In the snow and ice they have been very stable. I’m so happy I went with these tires and will again in the future!

Purchased 4 of these for my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe All Track. The handling and stopping was noticeable as I left the dealer who sold me them and did the install. Great in the rain here in Florida. I did have an alignment check after install and there was no problem. I just wanted to be sure as these are premium tires to me and I want them to last. I get free balance and rotations for the life of the tire. I expect to keep them in great shape.

I bought these set of tires after having the original CrossClimate tires on my e-Golf. I had them installed by a certified Michelin dealer, balanced, and did an alignment. Unfortunately, these tires have a slight vibration at 70+ MPH. I took the car back to the original place where I had them installed and they confirmed that the balancing was correct. I then took it to a second independent tire store to have them double check the balancing with Road Force equipment and they also said it was correct. I ended up using the Michelin 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee to get them replaced with a set of Michelin Sport Pilot A/S.

In the summer of 2021 I spent many hours researching tires for the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport that the daughter would soon be taking to college in Maine. The 32 hour drive from Texas to Maine, on mostly dry roads (all highway) was very nice, I do believe that these tires are quieter that the Bridgestones that they replaced. And if there was any change in mpg, I did not notice it. As to their performance in winter conditions, I will give you the daughters report of driving on the snow covered roads in maine…....(it seemed fairly positive to me)..…. “ it’s like driving a tank”. Kudos to the designers and builders. Please continue offering this outstanding tire. When one of our babies is that far away, it gives us Dads a little more peace of mind…….

I have owned them for two years but this is the first opportunity I have had to drive in slushy snow and sloppy conditions and they did well. I tried them in deeper snow and they do very well. The absolute best rain tires I have every used. They handle well and brake well. I am shocked I am saying all this because I usually do not prefer Michelin. these are the best tires I have ever owned and hope to use them on every vehicle going forward.

I bought 4 CrossClimate2 tires for my 2017 Pacifica. I’m thrilled with how well these tires are handling snow and ice. I have more control of the vehicle and I can negotiate an icy, snow-packed road on an incline with no trouble. The installer mentioned one potential down side - these tires can only be rotated front to back, not all 4 positions. I don’t care a bit- the all weather properties are what I need driving around Northern IL. City streets to rural roads, I’m completely satisfied with the tire performance. Compared to the stock tires that came on my new Pacifica, which had about 50k miles, these tires shine in every category of performance. The tracks from my new tires are also attractive and distinct- it looks like herringbone in the snow and ice.
