[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kayak is perfect for kids. We got our's kayak on Saturday and the kids could not wait to use it. My daughter who is 10 has never ridden in one alone and was nervous at first but picked it up real quick. She would fall off it on purpose and climb right back on with no problems. The only thing she wanted was some handles towards that back so climbing on was a little easier but that never held her back from getting back on. She had a smile on her face non-stop. Great product.

My child could not wait to use it. This is a perfect first-timer kayak to help develop skills and enjoy the water. The only downside is lack of handles to pull-up on when they inevitably go in the water, however my child was able to get back in with relative ease. Overall this was a great day on the water, full of smiles. You can't go wrong with the Lifetime Cadet Youth Kayak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 girls absolutely loved this! Ages 5 and 9. Going to look at getting another one. So lightweight and easy to maneuver. Loved the paddle that was included and the kayak is my favorite color!
